I've got no voice left! 😄
Amazing atmosphere. Amazing scenes. This one will live long in the memory.
The early goal really steadied any nerves and even when Carlisle were on top and Bolton were 2-0 up the defense looked so solid that I don't think we were ever seriously tested. The second half was much better, and the combination of going 2-0 up and Bolton fluffing their lines, that last 20/25 minutes was a victory lap/procession. The scenes at full-time were life-long memories stuff.
Over the past few weeks every single player has played their part. No passengers carried, and to a man they've turned up when we needed them. Today, there were so many candidates for MotM it almost seems unfair to single players out, but I thought Adams and Bradley were absolute monsters. They had so many corners/crosses and I don't think they actually won a single one! Every time a ball dropped to a Carlisle player on the edge of the box it was blocked every single time. Bradley, Nelson, Cash....immense. In midfield it looked like we'd cloned Adams, he was here, then there, then back over here....outstanding. And Max, great goal, put in a great shift and was named MotM, can't ask for more on his final appearance for the club. Also thought Korey Smith had a fantastic game for us, loved when there was a few minutes left and both Smith and Adams hunted down one of the Carlisle players and took the ball off him, both of them high-fiving each other after they'd done it. It just typified the spirit running through the entire team.
    What a brilliant f***ing day!

I wanted him gone after the Stevenage game. Never have I been so thoroughly delighted to be proven so wrong. He was tasked with a singular objective, get us up, and he's done it. Scenes like those today.....they're the stuff of Derby folklore.

Sadly this will be my last match today. My first was in 1956 as a 13year old, My dad used to take me before that but he stopped going when we went down to the third division north. My mate and I would catch the 12 oclock bus from Melbourne and be the first in the ground. We stood in the Normanton end pigeon loft, I think it was 3 shilling. To this day I remember that team. We were champions in 1957 and I ran onto the pitch after the last match against Southport, Ray Straw scored 37 goals that season, The next ten years saw me start work, get married and have two children, I had moved to Derby, and after my family, the Rams were the most important thing in my life I never missed a home game in those ten years even though we were only an average second division side. And then in 1966 after England won the world cup my mate and I decided to have a season ticket, Little did we know what would happen that season, I was at work one day and a Rams supporting work mate told me we had signed a player from Bradford Park Avenue, his name was Kevin Hector I'd never heard of him but he was without doubt the most wonderful footballer to grace the Baseball Ground I had ever seen, and because of this we wanted to see more players like him which led to Tim Ward getting the sack and BC becoming Manager, what followed was ten years of unbelievable success and enjoyment. And then things started to go wrong off and on the pitch and I stopped being a season ticket holder during Peter Taylors time as manager, i still loved The Rams of course and when I turned 65 and retired my old mate from Melbourne and I bought season tickets again. But sadly covid left my best friend of 80 years with a dementia problem and he know no longer knows me. For the last two seasons I have been going alone to the match but its just not the same for me. Therefore I am calling it a day, as I write this I am welling up as I will do this afternoon. Thank you Derby County for every thing I will love you till I die.

We warned Derbyshire Constabulary that the Chief Constable is a Forest fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.
Derby County fans will now consider their options.

They asked Gibson for advice - if Sala had been available, they would have picked up 3 extra points and avoided relegation. This is why the compensation is close to £100m more than the Sala transfer fee (£15m?). That part will be quickly dismissed, as the figure ignores the fact an extra season in the PL also results in additional costs and there's no way to prove what Cardiff would or wouldn't have spent.
The tactic is to start high and settle for less. I expect around halfway between the full fee paid and the expected legal costs.
So far, only the owner(?) of the flight providers has been prosecuted. Cardiff claim is due to the agent (who represented Nantes) was the person who organised the flight.i don't think Cardiff have filed against the correct party, but Nantes will probably give in (to an agreement) due to the potentially high legal fees.

I think the more likely scenario is that they start with a strong team but make plenty of subs at HT if it's not looking good for the autos.
If we ended up losing 2-0 and Bolton ended up fielding an under-strength team against Posh Reserves and end up winning 1-0 they'd be kicking themselves well into the playoffs.
Either way, we should put all of this beyond doubt by going 3-0 up inside the first 10 minutes. F*** what Peterboro and Bolton do.

Think he's expecting Barnsley to limp into 5th and he'd rather have them then either Oxford or Lincoln who might be in better form.
Resting players could go either way, and surrendering momentum, especially going into the playoffs, is never a clever idea really.

Apparently not. Either they don't think we'll drop points, or they deemed themselves incapable of slotting 4 or 5 past Bolton, but either way, the waving of this white flag is practically Italian/French in its epic-ness.

Probably the same guy who valued our ground the same as Morecambe's - did he base the estimate on Mbappe's value?

Huge result. Not necessarily for the opposition or the performance, but the situation being what it is it's all about the results now and a win, and a clean sheet, in this game, is huge. Well done lads! 😎

    Agree.
I get the fixture congestion line that's always trotted out with this kind of thing, but there are far better solutions than this. Why not increase the Premier League squad lists from 25 to say, 30, and make them actually play some of the vast amounts of talent that the Premier League clubs hoover up from the lower leagues?
As a point of reference, re fixtures - Man City played 61 games in total last year. Winning the treble. In 71-72 we won the league, and neither the FA Cup, or League Cup, and had no European impediments, and we played 60 games.
