Nice one. Have a couple for me. I stumbled upon an offie over here that sells 1200+ different beers...so I shouldn't be struggling for choices...just time.!

@Daveo recommended some vitamin b. The Xmas break was important for me as I got some sleep (was sleeping 3/4 hours per day for 3 weeks before that.)
Having two kids kept me busy and I've watched a ridiculous amount of football. Helps switch off, as does posting on here.
While not feeling to happy about the now, I think I can cope with it. A few weeks ago I wanted a way out. Needed a way out. Now, I'd quite like an escape and that time machine but don't feel so desperate.
Whether it was this thread, this forum, kind words from @uttoxram75, @i-Ram ,  @rynny, the vitamins, the sleep, reading the experiences of @Mafiabob, @Mostyn6, @SaintRam, @Phoenix, @Paul71, @ketteringram and everyone else who posted in here that I've read but can't keep typing @name...
    it's looking less grey.
Hope you had a good Xmas @Red_Dawn. Its a weird time of year. Some people forget their troubles and some can't cope with them at Xmas

I think being invited over for Christmas by your friends shows someone must care about you a lot Mostyn (god knows why ). Like you said, it's a family day. The fact that this person wants you to be there too shows that they consider you close enough to want to spend the family day with them too.
I wouldn't invite someone over for Christmas unless I genuinely considered them as good as family. If I were you I'd go, it can't be worse than being alone. Have a few drinks, smile, laugh, eat, watch **** TV, fall asleep, wait for Derby to top the table around 24 hours later. Just a list of few things that are much more enjoyable done in the company of others!

This may only be semi serious, but there's a lot of truth in it. The great thing about having a passion like supporting a football team is that it makes you feel alive. If I stopped jumping for joy when a Derby goal hits the back of the net, or if I felt perfectly comfortable watching a goal drought-suffering Chris Martin step up to an equalising penalty against the league leaders, I'd absolutely seek help.
Right now, I live for the football at the weekend. And it still makes me feel alive. That puts me at ease quite a lot. Even the heartache at Wembley is an experience I wouldn't undo, because it was an experience of raw emotion and I'd hate to lose that.
    Always enjoy the little things.

The thing is there are people on this forum that I could have a right good argument with over politics , or whatever but the common bond that binds us all is DCFC .
It's a massive credit to everyone that by and large what gets posted in the Pub is forgotten about in the other forum sections
It's great that everyone sticks together on subjects like this  ,I would even extend that to Dawny [ maybe]

After reading through this thread I realise how lucky I am not to have suffered what is obviously a very real and distressing condition.
But I also think it's brilliant how people are willing to help others by posting about their own experiences of what must have been some of the most difficult parts of their lives.
Good on you and I honestly hope that this thread helps the people that need it.
