uttoxram75 reacted to Premier ram in Nicest ever Derby players?
My best mates Gary Charles and best man at my wedding was Nigel Callaghan so I’m a bit biased towards those two , also Gary Rowett, James Collins , Mickey Forsyth and Steve Howard are really great guys

uttoxram75 got a reaction from Ramslad1992 in Pets
My 6 year old daughter wanted a cockatiel back in 1990. She's never fed or cleaned it out once and moved out in 2004. The bloody thing is still going strong making a hell of a mess everyday by flicking half his food out of the cage. Its bad tempered, tries to bite you every time you put your finger near it and whistles loudly when you are trying to watch or listen to summat.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission, but no doubt they must employ very conscientious local people in every location, because they're always immaculate.

The first (main) thing that struck about these cemeteries (firstly the WW1 cemeteries in NE France & Belgium, then later the Normandy cemeteries) were just how pristine and orderly they are. Certainly every one we visited (and not just the Brit cemeteries either).
The good folk that tend to these graves and graveyards are an absolute credit.

Roger and Roy Mac.
Fabulous ambassadors for the club and lovely people.

A bit less serious than some others mentioned but nonetheless valid. For us old uns anyway.
Bobby Moore and Bobby Charlton.
Possibly the two most loved football players in England. Not even fans of the biggest rivals of the clubs they played for disliked them.

Pre-match at the Bolton home game last season. Electric atmosphere and the flags/banners in the South Stand.

Ted McMinn, always used to chat to us on the popside sidelines when there was a break in play.

uttoxram75 reacted to Van der MoodHoover in D-Day
Grandfather Moodhoover was called up to serve at D-Day at the age of 37 so it wasn't all young lads.
He refused to kill anyone so was a medic, rushing around Sword beach patching up as many as he could to keep them alive.
He didn't like to speak about the actual 6th June much. Too harrowing.

Not just the lack of chocolate, its the chocolate itself. Most cheap chocolate is watered down with palm oil nowadays so the bit you do eat isn't as tasty as it used to be.
Chocolate used to be made with cocoa butter, now it gets thinned out with vegetable oil, mainly mass produced palm oil. They add extra sugar to make it taste nicer.

I assume you mean the 4th goal in the 5-0? 🤷♂️
From my NE corner seat, you just knew for certain it was going in, the moment it left his boot.
An absolute beauty!
