We have been like this since Wycombe away last season. I was hoping id seen shoots of a recovery last 2 games but i really didnt. For all the people who say we played well...Wildsmith made more saves than Cambridge's keeper. We have won 2 out the last 14 at home. Burton and Fleetwood. Both 1-0. Burton win was a penalty. Its a year in now and Warne's best players are still the ones Rosenoir brought in or had coached before he became manager. The substitutions today were an absolute joke. For a team sitting deep...what does Washington offer? For Sibley to come on and play wide tells u everything. Barkhuizen taken off??? Why??? I know hes been out a while but...Why???...Bored and see nothing but bland nothingless. Does Stevie Mac fancy Part 3??? That Rosenoir is doing ok too. One for the future that lad.

We have arguably the best squad in this utterly s*** division and I honestly believe not one of the teams currently above us in the table could live with us if we had the right coach/manager running the show.

    Today was my tipping point.
He talks a good game but what actually ends up on the pitch is so far removed from that. Pressing? We don’t do it. Pace? Didn’t bother signing any. So what does that leave us with?
First half was ok. Individual errors and pace of play the main issues. However, you could see Cambridge were comfortable pushing us down the sides and knowing our cross would be bad, no one would be in the box or we would turn around and go back. There was no central threat with Waghorn hiding and Collins not moving. No one wanted it and wanted to be creative in there.
Then the second half hits… he waits 25 minutes to change it despite it being obvious after just 5 minutes of the second half that literally nothing had changed. We were still doing the same thing and still playing slowly.
The sub he made? Puts our most creative, attacking central player wide left. Absolutely genius move. So not only did it not help, it removed the balance of having an actual wide player out there. Then he kept Korey Smith on until 2 minutes to go despite wanting 3-5 business days on the ball every time he touched it, and the ineffectual Collins ambling about.

All in all, it’s showed me he’s either watching a different game or cannot put across his ideas, or both. Regardless, that’s me tapping out. I tried, I really did. But I want someone else now.

Epic train journey home today. Being stuck just outside Derby for 45 minutes is not what you want....but...performance today i wouldnt call great but...as Tuesday night i saw us trying to play again. It was sloppy at times but i can take that. Far better than watching us just get it wide and cross it!! Nelson continues to prove me wrong as i really didnt want him here..Nyambe looks a player..all in all im in far happier mood than last weekend. We move on.

I noticed that. Maybe the players coming back have given us the creative spark weve badly needed and an alternative to just cross. Was interesting to hear tho i agree.

I’ll happily admit to being more on the optimistic side most of the time, I don’t think last night was a “good” performance, but it was better than we’ve had in some games and showed what the team can do regardless of the opposition. Lots of stock has been placed in stats to show how poor our performances have been at times, last nights stats seem to make good reading to me.
Is it a positive to see two of our attacking players back from injury and finishing two really good attacking moves to get on the scoresheet? For me it is. Is it a positive to see us keep a clean sheet? For me it is. Is it a positive to see some rotation in the squad and minutes in the legs for more players? For me it is. Is it a positive to see us pass the ball more, have more possession, play more accurate passes than the opponent? For me it is. Is it a positive seeing the club I support win regardless of the opponent or competition? For me it is.
So taking this game in isolation it was a decent win. As for what it means in the grand scheme of the season we have to wait and see, it’s on to Carlisle on the weekend to hopefully build some momentum.

Really pleased to see us score 2 goals like that without a cross in sight!! We played alot more like a football side 2nd half. Instead of a "just cross it and hope" side. Having Barkhuizen and Sibley back helps put Warneball to one side. We need to carry it on Saturday and not revert to boring non football stuff. Last night showed we can play. Carry it on!!!

We virtually dominated every game under Rosenoir. And thats with a squad assembled in 6 weeks!! At the minute we are being bossed in games and look rudderless. If we are being dominated by League 1 sides then that doesnt bode well if we make the Championship with Warne. He has been relegated 3 times already in the Championship. Was it a coincidence that Rotherham stayed up last season after Warne had left?? Id have Rosenoir back in a heart beat.

Im still fuming we got rid of Rosenoir. I wasnt happy at the time and im even more so now. Why was Rosenoir sacked?? I could really go in to depth on some stuff...but can anybody argue we looked a better side and with a plan under Rosenoir? Rosenoir hardly had McGoldrick either did he? The football now is woeful. Its boring and toothless.

I think ive gathered that. But to not get the job after assembling a squad at short notice was more or less a sacking. Dress it up all you like. Rosenoir got a squad together and was "sacked" for Warne.
