It's beeen a beautiful morning up here in Yorkshire. All you Rams fans heading up won't be disappointed (well not with the weather anyway ?).
Just a short train ride from Ilkley for me, so setting off shortly.
Can't wait.

Then back to watch (on the TV) Derbyshire in the T20 quarter final later with a few beers.

It's so easy to be drawn in by Liam Rosenior. He really seems to be bringing in the players that have the right values.
Feels like the right man at the right time. I only hope he's as good on the pitch as he is off it. I want him to succeed so very much, if only for the loyalty and passion he's shown for this club in its darkest hours, it would have been so very easy to join Wayne in saying 'I've had enough, time for fresh eyes'.
Lets get behind him. Ignore the pre-season games. Don't turn on him if we lose the first couple. If there's signs of a plan, an idea, then lets run with it. Don't let this good feeling go to waste.

This has to be among the best weeks trading the club have ever done.
Of course you have to take into account the league we are playing in but with that in mind, we have had a week where the majority of signings and re-signings could, and possibly should, be playing at a higher level.
I already feel that we have a better first eleven than last season and there is the realistic possibility that we are still to add to the squad.

I don't know if Marco is Buchanan's agent. The Derby Telegraph said that Quantum Sport is run by Marco, but he's no longer a director of Quantum Sport, having left that role in 2020.

He's still listed on the company website as a "consultant", but whether or not he was directly involved in this Buchanan situation or just happens to work for the same company as Buchanan's agent isn't clear.
