I think I genuinely enjoy being hated by some teams fans but on the whole I'd prefer it if any ill-feeling was because we dumped them out of the cup or beat them in playoffs or denied them promotion or whatever, All that I'm perfectly happy with but I'd still rather not be despised because we've been a shambles off the pitch.

I think your missing the point, yes locally we all care passionately about our club thats not up for debate. What is up for debate is are we disliked!

Answer is no because in the scheme of things outside our supportive group no one cares, you reap what you sew and as previously suggested in the scheme of things we really are not seen as being that significant.

  2. Isn’t this similar to clubs thinking or stating they are big clubs but in reality they are in their own neighbourhood, not in the real world.

In our minds we are disliked in reality no one cares and if we went out of business DCFC fans would care but in a few years other fans would have conversations asking if they remember that football club called Derby that went out of the league a few years ago.

Lets be realistic NO ONE GIVES A FLYING JOT IF WE SURVIVE OR NOT.
Its not important, not through hatred or dislike, because the world still spins and tomorrow always happens.

yes   it has got so vindictive and personal that we need Mel to go so that we can have a constructive relationship with the EFL.

How do you have a relationship with people you don’t trust or respect, I know we’ll go crawling on all fours and dance to the efl sickening tune!

I would rather lick my own arse, not a chance, see all of them in hell.

Are people for real. It's not down to Gibson, it's not down to the EFL..... Its down to Morris. Selling the ground to himself was the clear and obvious sign of how bad things were. Gibson also lodged complaints against villa and sheff wed so he has no vendetta against Derby. Morris tried to make it personal by offering to show the books to Gibson..... The books he wouldn't submit to the EFL. Morris has Destroyed Derby county and tarnished it's reputation and still people have fallen for his lies and blame others.

You might hide behind the pretence that Gibson has had nothing to do with our down fall but in reality he and several other so called influential people have by their total inept attitude have protracted the whole naughty boys must be spanked attitude to an extent that it has reaped the reward they so desperately wanted.

Gibson and his cronies in the efl are not blameless dispite your fondness of them.

Chris Coles told us weeks ago that Mel’s funding of the club would not continue for ever. Came directly from the club. Can’t blame the journalists if people don’t listen

I accept what you say, however it doesn’t stop a journalist having basic skills in respect and dignity.

which in part Dawes will never have in fact probably words he couldn’t even spell.

Only mentioned late in the bulletin on 5 live almost in passing-Thought it would get more attention-shows we are not really that significant in the football world-probably only mentioned and get any more coverage because of Rooney

I don’t think it will get significant attention because it’s been expected, more people than we realise have known about the standoff between us and the efl and the consequences of it not being resolved.

whilst I accept that Mel chanced his arm and was caught, I cannot accept that the efl by utter incompetence of just implementing rules and consequences of breaking them come out of this squeaky clean.

Really, I don't know and I have been just wondering that how can they drag things so long. It seems really odd from outside. It seems that no one knows how to get an end result, just go step by step and then figure out what to do now that they can see where they are.

Call me crazy but just maybe because it suits hidden agendas!

Yes but don't let that get in the way of some still wanting to blame the EFL

Whilst I absolutely agree with you, the only nagging doubt I have is the slowing up of the whole situation of dealing with the ffp has effectively been death by a thousand knives.

It makes me wonder just how the elf expected this to play out!

Why would we fail to agree a 9 point deduction and then take a 12 point one? Is there a business reason to this?

Maybe some people want to make a point with the efl, “I told you what I would do if you pushed me, so now sort it”

    A matter of principle maybe!

  10. So many Man U players have intimidated that he was a cut above when he was younger.

Lets hope he’s got all his inner demons out of the way and just wants to enjoy playing.

If he has then all things being equal DCFC could be the benefactor!
