Because both managed to get us into the playoffs, they have the best win ratios of our managers in years,we played excellent attractive football under both, both are excellent coaches and they are already employed by the club.
Just those few things really.
I’ll leave it to you to convince our present owner of why he should, facts are he won’t!
So now what?

Recruit from within ?
All the candidates from within have been tried and unless uncle Mel relinquished control, what on this earth makes you think he will try them again?

8 points from the last 51 available.
1 win in 18.
Surely it’s time for him to accept this job is, understandably, too much for him and do the right thing and walk away. Install Mac until the end of the season and try to regain some kind of positive and understandable style of play. When are Derby fans going to smell the coffee?
Rooney is manager by default, but in fairness no one else would entertain us whilst the EFL and Mel have got this vitriol towards each other.
It’s way overdue for Derby County supporters to understand the complexity of the situation.

See above,Mac or wassell or preferably both.
Already on our books and both talented coaches which is what we need in our predicament,we need to bring the talents of the squad to the fore before it's too late.
Call me crazy but haven’t they both had a go and for what ever reason have not been allowed to continue?
why would one think they would be given a fresh opportunity with our present owner!

I’ll do it……I’ll only cost a couple of grand a week and with a fair wind and bit of luck I might equal the 1 win in 17!
I did say realistic!

He should really walk,it would be the best for both sides.
When are the personnel who advocate Mr Rooney going to come up with an credible alternative?
Actually a realistic alternative would be even more interesting taking into account our current predicament!

We're finished.
If this is our squad we're done.
The manager is tactically inept. How many times under him have we been 1-0 up and lost the game?
No idea what our plan was that game. Almost playing with 6 in midfield at times.
The mess before their first goal started with Forsyth not even trying to win the header and the lack of effort from Jozwiak to even stop their player was a joke. His reaction when they scored to, didn't look remotely bothered.
Where was the logic in bringing Jozwiak on right at the end?
The second goal is disgraceful too. Davies and Bird going for the same ball and what Byrne was doing is anyone's guess. Just put your foot through it.
There's no doubt in my mind we will go down.
I can't see anyone coming in, we can't even afford working TVs, staff in the ticket office, roadriders. So how we going to pay wages?
We have just played against a team who have conceded 7 goals in 2 games.
Please someone explain why we didn't go at them from the start.
What has Sibley got to do to start a game?
Stop being a pretentious clown and hand balling in a position that costs a goal!

Maybe the great football Populus has to accept that Mr Rooney has a diss functional attitude towards being a married man with four children, how this impacts on his ability to manage a football club I don’t fully appreciate but he isn’t wired up the same as me.

Suddenly beginning to appreciate that it’s summer, geese and turkeys beginning to hatch, poly tunnel full of tomatoes and peppers, bees busy in the hives.
Thanks to god that the rest of my mundane life is on an even keele and all the Derby peri feral crap can be put into perspective.
Problem being unfortunately summer doesn’t last forever and I’ll have to take on board the Derby County soap opera.

You say they don't represent the fan base - yet if you look at the stats on the poll on here about how many agree with what was in the letter then maybe you're wrong. So write and tell them you don't support those fans.
Or do nothing.
Maybe doing polls retrospectively is the flaw, get the consensus first then do the correspondence not the other way round.

Well don't tell me, it's nowt to do with me.
Tell the Club - write to them and tell them. Let us know if you get a reply.
Why would you tell the club about a group of individuals purporting to represent the fan base when it’s absolutely clear that they don’t?
Surely the charlatans involved should be revising the letter they wrote with out authority to do so! -
Does anyone know of an alternative way of getting out of the championship into the premier league other than spending copious amounts of money hopefully gaining promotion and then spend another stupid a amount to try and stay in the upper echelons.
Then we wonder why we can’t find a new owner!

A fantasy island with the nick name DCFC really doesn’t exist.

So assume you get your way, what would one propose happens from that point?

It's crazy that people think Rooney deserves to stay up because Rotherham messed up their lead at the end of their game. How low are people's expectations? Staying up on the last day by the skin of our teeth isn't good enough. The only way we can move forward is to get this guy gone. The football is rubbish, the results are rubbish, we fluked survival. Rooney out.
That’s really going to help, no owner, no players.
I know let’s go for a full deck and add no manager as well!

We do need to stick together as these are going to be turbulent months ahead.
I genuinely believe if everyone knew the truth then you would be shocked.
You honestly think that people after all that has happened in the world in the last 15 months and in football in the last 4 weeks can be “genuinely shocked”
Naive in the least, verging on plain stupidity.

Clearly some people have to much time on there hands, transactions are in reality conducted in the public domain so why should this one!
-
Realistically we have very little chance of adding on one to our squad.
Seems to me that we are probably in a make do with what we have phase.
-
I have to be honest and state that I am totally amazed by the fact any one cares.
Mr Keogh has run his course with DCFC, what he decides to do in the future is for him and only him, will it impact on me or DCFC probably not.
Correction definitely not.
