Long time reader of the forum and I post every now and then.
can’t believe that we are on p2368 and this my first post on the thread… hopefully I’m the lucky charm that’s been missing ?
im travelling to Italy today for a wedding and there will be a few ex pros there and a lot of football fans including one Man Utd fan who gave me dogs abuse on the stag do because of what he’d read in the paper - don’t worry made mincemeat of him
please god let this be sorted asap and some players signing and or re-signing

If it is the Locko estate lease on Moor Farm, there could be covenants about leasing to certain businesses (ie property developers) , that need tying up or re writing in the lease. This may have only occurred since Cowes developments were named as potential owners.

We all owe Mr Clowes for acting and saving our football club and as I’ve said before his name should be sung loud and proud before kick off against Oxford
I also think although he saved us he will not be a long term owner unless it’s sustainable or he gets good investment and could still sell us lock stock ans barrel to someone like MA in the future
but his part in saving us is just amazing …his statement said it all …something needed to be done ans he’s done it …so if you read these forums Mr Clowes Thankyou very much !!!

Can’t believe anyone is worried if it doesn’t happen tonight. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. Clowes isn’t CK, isn’t Alonso, isn’t the Sheikh. At some point in the coming days we begin our new era.
If it doesn’t happen tonight - it’s no big deal.

All parties now present, contract signing underway and cash transfers soon to be instigated. Last remaining hold up appears to be that the Quantuma reps are not taking the whole thing terribly seriously.

I agree, aside from his red card which I felt was harsh Stearman never let us down last season. Based on the We Are Derby stuff he was a good character for the rest of the squad too. Having the likes of him, Davies, Forsyth and CKR to provide a foundation for the rest of a squad to be built on is no bad thing. It’ll help any new faces we are able to bring in to settle sooner.

Just so glad we are nearly there with a decent new owner, no debt and no ‘Wayne Rooneys Derby County’ circus following us. It’s not going to be easy and I’m expecting a difficult season in League One where we probably won’t be up there challenging, but I still cannot wait for the normality of going to the games, speculating over the new kit/new signings and the joy/despair of results! I bloody love this club - COYR!

No news yet on contract extensions, signing players or what needs to be done in that regard.
