Sure great guy.  CB cover maybe but another slow one.  Can't see him at LB or LWB at this level.

There must have been about ten LB or LWB brought in to replace him over the years and not one of them was any better - his ability to slot in a left sided centre half if we play 3 at the back will be very useful.

Rumours that he is a) off to Pompey and b) back to Wendy

Also rumours that Collo has an offer from Brum

Brum would be a decent move for JC but he did start at Villa I think whilst Wildsmith can go wherever he wants if he doesn’t want to be here any longer.

Is it possible that we’ve offered Sibley a deal just to protect his value at a tribunal?

Well yes but his contract was decent already remembering he was offered his based on a hat trick in the championship for a midfielder and a lot of promise - hopefully he stays

  4. No major disappointment in that list, Wildsmith obviously values himself higher than we can afford for a goalkeeper unless we bring in a better one whilst if Smith had stayed I would have only expected him to be a sub. Gayle is one I would have liked to have taken for a year if he wanted to stay because he knows where to be to put the ball in the net. Hopefully Sibley wants to stay with us whilst Collins might not want to be Sub most weeks so I expect he might get a longer term deal elsewhere as first choice. We will see if Warne tries to move on Fornah and Washington who have had next to no impact in league one and we will be in the championship.

A big thanks to the players leaving who all contributed to promotion out of that dreadful league, whilst I hope we see better players replacing them.

I dont see Iverson as a number 1. He was rather average when at Preston a couple of years back, and pretty poor at Stoke.

This would make sense if the rumour of Vickers leaving is also true. He'll also help with integrating any Danish (and Dutch to a lesser extent) players to the club.

Interesting as I think he is an excellent goalkeeper and was very good when at Preston whilst being at Stoke has blotted many decent players CV

whilst being a Leicester player indicates a higher wage which could be a problem

Yeah good call on this, i think the £10m ideas are a bit fanciful at this point!

let’s see how he gets on in league one, I’d hope Warne has a look at him in pre season though. If thinks can help the first team then be good to see him play.

If brown plays and scores goals in the championship then £10m would not be a shock!

9 subs next season and he should be one of them and hopefully get proper starts on top of that

Or we're letting them train to be fit to get deals elsewhere? Or Sibley and Thommo had bust up on break at the cabin and he's letting off steam at least! 🤷‍♀️

They are employed by the club so turning up for work when expected maybe

I've read/heard of 27 different players we're buying this summer. 2 of those arriving would be a miracle. Where did you hear it? Who from? A reputable, reliable source or did you overhear someone saying they'd seen something on FB or X?

The whole point being there's a lot of crap being written by folk wanting clicks to gain advertising revenue from their FB pages, YouTube channels and websites. We don't yet know who's staying and who's going. We're not the only club that hasn't yet published their retained list. Unless a club has said something, there's no traction in any of these rumours.

Very good source thanks - will he change his mind now that we have achieved promotion who knows because people do but I am not expecting him to still be with us next season.

I don’t know that their presence on the vegas trip should be a direct indicator of their futures. Hourihane, Collins, Sibley, Thompson, Smith, Bird, Adams are all there and as it stands aren’t going to be Derby players next year.

    From what I can see Waghorn, Ward, Wildsmith, Forsyth, Loach, Fornah, John-Jules, Nyambe and Barkhuizen are missing from this group shot that was shared;

Top row L-R; Cashin, Bradley, Elder, Wilson, Collins, CBT, Smith, Nelson, NML.

Bottom row L-R; Washington, Vickers, Sibley, Hourihane, Bird, Thommo, Adams.

The ones missing are a bit older and mostly married I would say and probably were not allowed to go !
they are clearly staying at the Cosmopolitan hotel which is very nice - I was staying at the Aria next door and my room looked down on one of the two pools there and at the weekend those pools are loud ! - I returned late last night

They'll be in Vegas Thursday to Tuesday/Weds. Now is a good time to add them to your social media as there will be some content out soon I'm sure.

I am currently there myself - not seen them and probably won’t as I am flying back in 12 hours

Just recalled that their appeal hearing decision will be announced this week. Is the timing of their offensive a thinly veiled attempt to bring pressure to bear on the PL?

I'm not sure who is advising them, but given they got a reduction for 'showing good faith' with the original IDC, the intelligence behind said strategy is hard to fathom. I'm actually quite hopeful that they'll received a further sanction for their 'troubles'. We learned under Morris that going on the offensive is not always the best policy when dealing with these governing bodies and my hunch is that Forest are about to find that out for themselves.

Coincidence isn’t it - hopefully they have those two points for good behaviour taken away and reinstated as another minus 2

  12. All about the result so well done on getting it even if some of them didn’t look like they had any composure at all

ours to balls it up now which we shouldn’t

our football still looks dreadful in this dreadful league - can’t wait for the conversation on how we improve if and when we achieve promotion

NML hasn't scored since Exeter away, 12 games, or assisted since Bristol Rovers away, 6 games.

Looks like he's ran out of steam, the same as last season, but with CBT not getting going there's little alternative tbh. Clearly CBT is a confidence player, and following that miss he was a waste of a shirt, along with Washington and Collins, which surprised me re Collins, very quiet, but have no time for Washington,  he's been poor all season.

Yet what has happened to him? Someone moved him basically from his best position and decided to make him captain to give him something else to think about - NML is one of those who you leave in his best position and just concentrate on playing

The other thing with Sibley is he's not a LB. But what happened to the LB Warne put all his hopes and dreams into? I'm not talking about Fozzy here either we shouldn't be relying on Fozzy at his age in this system at LB. Callum bloody Elder was another bad signing in my book along with Wash and Bradley etc

Since Sibley has been helping the team when at LB or LWB we haven’t really been losing games or letting many goals in - well that’s what it feels like to me.

we just signed loads of players with a hefty list of injuries

  15. Point gained against a side that you will never get a decent game of football against - that said Warne’s sides rarely play a decent game of football either.

No shots on target suggest we could do with having a better way of playing despite the limitations of some of our players.

Whats our leader going to serve up at home on Saturday 5 at the back ? As we haven’t exactly done much with the football at home all season.
