Er no, that’s the point. Star January signing not seen yet, but PW must have seen him before signing him, and they billed him as someone who can improve the first X1.
I was hoping that somebody had seen Fornah play and we gave him a contract as well

Well done. Thought we deserved more but that's football.
See how it goes from here on in, but glad I don't have to watch that every week TBH.
We'll live 🙂
Most of us will totally agree with you - sadly the mission is get out of this dreadful league and we have what we have

Excellent 3 points considering how many players we are missing
Wildsmith made some excellent saves whilst Nelson Forsyth and Cashin were very decent which highlights what we lacked up front
Real shame about Gayle injury
Can we please find someone to take free kicks and stop Our goalkeeper from being half a pitch away from his net with every other player on the pitch only 30 yards away from him because it’s far too risky and unnecessary
Nice corner from Elder as well and Bolton will be disappointed that a tiny player gets a winning header but I wasn’t but we were poor overall and a touch fortunate to get 3 vital points

We are Derby county and this is the Third division - I expect to beat Bolton at home in every single league we are in and now we actually have someone who hunts down goal scoring chances in the Box UTR

Well they are not in administration yet - despite their protests they have been treated very leniently by the EFL in comparison to ourselves in my humble opinion. Yes it’s not nice when an owner won’t put anymore money into something you love but they need a new owner who will buy the debt because the stadium has been sold off and the training ground will be unless it’s dirty money and good luck finding a new owner and that’s only going to happen now if it’s from Administration in a similar way to ourselves.
They have difficult times ahead and another club with a category 1 academy in dire trouble

Yep - they are at it again. Profiteering at another club in financial trouble’s expense.
Really starting to despise that club.
Reading fc asked Wycombe apparently! A hard sell now so maybe admin coming soon assuming the owner will not put the money into the club

PW just said bradley wasnt well and was sick when he came off
That’s why he couldn’t jump to head the ball away when he needed to😉

The referee help as well 👍
-
Much needed three points
Gayle the difference -yes it looked like handball on the penalty 😉
not sure how we gave a free header away for their goal

Haven't Bolton got a couple of injuries yesterday? Not believing myself but we'll see.
We have half a team missing/unfit as well

Oh dear. Can't sell players to himself anymore. Tidying up that P & L it gonna be a mofo now. I can see additional penalties inbound. Have to say, with most clubs, I'd feel a degree of solidarity, but given it's the piss-taking gumptards I'll just ask instead, where's the party now?

Premiership rule, hopefully the EFL follow suit quickly

Interesting how were only at 45% turnover/spend when league 1 clubs can be up to 75%.
Be a good question to ask how far close to the limit would Clowes take the playing budget when the restrictions are lifted.
We get tarnished by other clubs around us that were big spenders but it's far from the case.
Well at the end of the day Clowes is paying the debt so it’s his choice and it’s his choice to eventually recoup some profit - so probably best not to be too optimistic on signing players for larger fees than we have been doing

Sibley shoots and usually on target which is a rare commodity

Another problem for Ward is that NML should be starting ahead of him as the attacking midfielder and Wilson has done well at times when he has had a chance but defensively at right back it should be Nyambe all day long which is 4 players who should be looking to occupy 2 spots in a balanced side whilst we have looked ropey on the left hand side to frequently this season

Played well today and going 1-0 up so early we carried on going for them which was good too see, could of been a cricket score if we kept going, not sure who was worse them or Exeter
Northampton on the day were rubbish 👍

Is Sibley claiming that first goal? Was going wide til their defender knocked it in.
His second was nice
It was swerving in honest 👍

Necessary three points achieved
Ward played very well whilst Sibley got on the end of three of his crosses to show his quality
Yes Port Vale were rubbish but a win is a win

David Clowes ?
No obviously - hopefully it doesn’t become a trend but another season in this crap league will stop around 2,000 season ticket holders from attending I suspect
