You say that but he started for Poland in their World Cup play off.
I think he’s just suffered from playing too many games upon his return, we won’t get a load of money for him because of his knees but he’ll look a lot better next season wherever he is.

The critical path has to be:
    1) Get the takeover finalised. Nothing much, apart from planning and conversations, can happen until then
    2) Get Rooney to stay next year. I feel him staying will have a significant impact on who we're able to attract or re-sign
    3) Sort out the the players out of contract we want to retain (for me, top of the list would be Cashin, Byrne, Bird, Knight, Allsop, Davies,  and Ebiowei)
3a) [in tandem with 3] offer season tickets for sale
    4) Sign new players

The inevitable has happened, they had to go for the win.
Get the club taken over and rebuild, next season will be really good I think if we keep this togetherness.

Check Covent Garden, there’s normally a Derby lad stood on top of the phone box with his knob out.

Time to change the lyrics, and make it more topical and relevant to our situation.
I won't try and circumvent the swear filter, but I'm sure you'll get the drift if you see this topic before it disappears!

    Mel Morris is a banker,
    He wears a bankers hat,
He said he loved our Derby,
    But he's a ducking twit.

He said that he would sell us,
    And wanted just a pound,
But he's a lying bar steward,
    And took away our ground.

If Reading win tonight then taking the points off this season is better for the long term future of the club in my opinion, next season will be tough enough anyway.

Since Lionel Pickering, we've had the lot.
We had a seemingly perfect owner, in MM throwing money around and putting some winning teams out. Turned out to be a nightmare.
We had a group of wealthy local fans. Least said about that the better.
We had a consortium of wealthy foreigners backing a group of talented sports adminstrators with stability the watchword. Got nowhere.
We had a no-marks chancer and his buddies who ended up behind bars.
We welcomed them all with optimism. We'll do the same with CK or whoever. We know better than anyone that we're drowning and need anyone to throw us a lifeline.
Kirchner said some offensive things on twitter in his youth? Couldn't give less of a monkeys, I'm not a choosing beggar. I see your non-PC comments and raise you allegations of extortion, arson, drug running, match fixing and brutality down the road, Man U purchased with their own future revenue (never could get my head around that), the shenanigans at leeds over the years from Peter 'fit and proper person' Ridsdale through Ken Bates, the mockery of a sham of the spirit of the game at Watford/Udinese and the least said about the owners of Newcastle and Man City the better. Kirchner might have made homophobic comments, those regimes take an altogether more blood-thirsty approach to the topic.
For what it's worth, I don't think this is over by a long chalk, but CK gets my approval if he does take over and we'll see where we go.

The Red Dogs should look at their own owner’s past rather than judging CK.
I’m not going to lie, I don’t feel too excited about him taking over as opposed to Ashley but hopefully Quantuma and the EFL can finally make a good decision for the sake of our club.

proper protest. apparently the one today was a bit poor, seen one person on Twitter say “We are all stood like melons”
Need to organise something proper, maybe staying in the ground after full time and expressing our frustrations in chants and that? we’re on telly Fri 15th against Fulham, organise something for then, best chance of making our voices known

My friend has not long left of his life, He has terminal cancer and has maybe only weeks to live.  He had his first season ticket when he came out of the army in the mid fifties, and has had it every season since, and then when he married in 1963 his wife had one too, they never missed a home match, but then covid came along and they have not been again. We have a mutual friend who lives in the USA he is in the UK this week end and is taking my friend to what is likely to be his last match ever. I'm just hoping if there are any protests it wont affect the match. So please spare a thought or a prayer if your so minded on Saturday. I wont say his name as he hated social media as much as he loved the Rams. So UP THE RAMS  P will be thinking of you.
