I'd be more worried if he went on national media and began slating his colleagues and the club that currently employs him. Just because he said something on the radio doesn't mean its what he actually thinks.

How does anyone other than Mel know what his net worth is? The rich list is mostly guesswork. They certainly don't know what he has in the way of liquid assets

So you think someone employed by the club is just going to go and tear apart their colleagues on national radio? Don't be ridiculous. The only time that ever happens is with extremely unstable individuals ala Billy Davies and even then it is very rare. Not everything is a conspiracy theory. Carry on...

it's never a good sign when a single player is more important to a club than the entire management/coaching team. 

More like the bielik bounce man if Rooney hadn’t of had bielik we would have gone down it’s that simple. For those games if you’d of given cocu bielik when fit would have done exactly the same 

If i bought the club I'd accept it's my responsibility to keep maintaining and supporting it to an acceptable level. 

So basically the one positive of admin is Rooney could potentially be gone. Get it done now ??

As @GenBralso said above, it seems perfectly reasonable to me. Forget profit and sustainability and amortisation calculations, they are no longer the story here. The Club clearly owes significant debt, and whilst Morris does seem to be paying the wages it equally seems clear that he isn’t prepared to immediately settle long standing debts - to HMRC, Cocu and his team, etc.  Then there is MSD, and I wonder how much is owing to smaller local creditors who supply the club with services. We don’t know, because he won’t tell us nor apparently offer any guarantees to the EFL for the next 12 months. As @kevinhectoringsays there is also a legal obligation in terms of the audited accounts that are being prepared that the owners must - if liabilities exceed assets - give some tangible assurance to the Auditor that the Club can comply with Companies Act requirements as to continuing to trade and pay debts as they fall due.

He won't know any sanctions until he formally submits the accounts. If he thinks that is what is holding up any potential takeover then it is entirely within his power to get it sorted sooner rather than later.
If we're going to fail ffp he gains nothing from delaying submission of the accounts.
