Great news we finally get a PB.  But why is it I still get wound up by the pathetic comms from the EFL.....

You're like a spoilt child.  Keep it factual.  "Following notification by the admins of the PB.....".  And how long will your review take?  Long enough to see us down with further points deductions and player losses?

Spoke really well but this was the key takeaway for me.  He wants the opportunity to build his own squad and bring success to this club over the next 2-3 years.  Him and CK seemed to get on and importantly, share the same vision, so if it really is CK, maybe this could be just what we need.

Me neither but then I was 43 a decade ago.  Dare I say a proper grown up.  CK was, what, 23, 24?  No excusing him of course but I for one am pretty sure I made silly comments, including the use of movie or song quotes, at that age without really thinking it through.  Only thing "protecting" me, is platforms like Facebook and Twitter didn't even exist when I was that age so there's no record of it.  Oh and the fact I'm not the apparent PB of DCFC. 

I liked CK when he was on the table last time (not literally for those of you looking for a double entendre!) - did say at the time that I couldn't quite put my finger on why, and still can't but I liked the fact he was different.  WR certainly liked him and said they both had the same vision for the club.  If it means that the manager and owner are in complete Slync too, then that's no bad thing.

I’ve just noticed that Wayne has now had a longer tenure than cocu. That makes him our longest serving manager since Steve mac (first stint) and second longest since Nigel cloudy. Admittedly in different circumstances he may have been fired last year, but I for one am glad that he’s had the opportunity to stock around for a bit longer and learn the ropes, despite the difficulties. It will be very interesting to see what the summer holds for him and what the plans might be for next season and beyond. Hope he stays!

I think CK is keen to be loved.
MA proved at Newcastle he’s not bothered about being loved.
On that tenuous basis, I’m slightly happier in the hope Kirchner will want on-field success.

I think this is one of the reasons I always liked the idea of Kirchner. He's new. He's forward thinking and innovative - the basis on which his company is built (and successfully growing).  Ashley would bring financial stability for sure but at what cost to the club's future growth - his goal would literally be profit; he's a pure businessman.  CK is a businessman too, for sure, and far from stupid but he's investing in sport rather than just buying a business.
