Not strictly correct, Wycombe and Wigan can afford to draw against each other and still match our current points, overtaking us on goal difference. The others aren't brought into the equation yet, let's just hope we can tick as many off the list as soon as possible.

They can but it would mean them winning all of their remaining games including v Wigan. Which would mean Wigan can't overtake us. So, it's as you were. 😀
The reality is that, taking into account the fact that teams have to play each other and therefore you can't just do the maths to see which teams could still catch us in order to work out our lowest possible position, it's far too complicated. I haven't got the time, energy or brain power to work out all of the possible scenarios but I'd guess we can't finish below something like 11th - possibly even higher.

The most league wins away in the clubs history was equalled today (12), with 4 away games to play will we beat it.
Also, most league wins in a season is 28, back in 1955/56 season in Division 3 North. Currently on 22 with 9 matches to play (It's possible).
Most league points in a season was 2013/14 with 85, can we get 14 points or more with 27 points still at stake.

Some great results today at the top. At the bottom, we can't now finish lower than 14th. I do remember one ignominious point earlier in the season when Burton Albion were above us in the league. Now they can't catch us!

Well today was alright.
Three points gained on Barnsley, +7 GD.
Two points gained on Pompey and Bolton, +3 GD.
Nil points gained on Peterborough, but +1 GD.
For argument's sake, if Posh and Barnsley win their games in hand (I know they're a little while away yet) then it'd be...

I'd suggest anybody old enough to consciously remember a competitive first team game at the BBG invest in some Tena pants for men (or women), because it's going to be a nervy end of the season.

Probably. But damn, I really want to win this league. And I still think we can.

If we are paying David Clowes rent of 872 k per annum on PP. Which he bought for £25 mill - that’s similar to DC getting 4-5% p an  interest on his investment . That seems fairly normal in the current financial climate.
