  1. We are just over a year into our reboot, the club needs stability, it's no surprise Clowes backs his man 1 year into a 4 year project. I don't think this is the dreaded "vote of confidence" either, what with the January transfer window being mentioned. This is our chairman's decision, we need to accept it and get back to supporting the team, at least we can then say we did our bit as supporters.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       In the summer i voiced my concern ( and others) about recruitment in the midfield and forward areas, powerhouse / ballwinners / playmaker/ goalscorers etc, this has to be the focus come January, which won't be easy on our budget. I would also like to say to everyone who is down and frustrated with the performances', manager, players and i include myself in this-  i get it, we are around the lowest position our club has gone in history, we don't want to be here, but the division and toxic vibe between supporters, players and staff is not helping. We will turn the corner, we will rise again and sticking together will make it all feel worth it. Clowes style is not chop and change like Mel, we need to back him with some patience. Keep the faith UTR

  2. Disappointed in the manager, disappointed in the coaches, disappointed in the players, disappointed not many of the managers signings are contributing enough, disappointed that fans and players argue, disappointed Blackpool wasn't the turning point, in terms of performances', disappointed in how i let the football effect my weekend, disappointed i feel i need to write this.

  3. To be honest i got worried about performances' and results, i want Derby to start the upturn like we all do. I went to Blackpool when we got relegated and was there the other night, I'm hoping this is is our turning point. I think Warne is adapting, at Blackpool tactical and motivational. We just need to sort the home form out, which won't be easy with most teams sitting in. Keep the faith UTR

I’m posting comments in the March thread relating to what I can see in the game for people who aren’t watching. it’s not a classic game but that’s what this thread is for as I understand it
We’ve had some pressure the last few mins, we’ve won a penalty, Collins has scored it. Go whine in another thread

Is this the wrong time of the month for you ?

  5. In his latest interview, PW mentions promotion and sending the lads away to do some soul searching. Why is he struggling to get his message across to the players, even the basics of how he wants to play are not being carried out. I think he needs to do some soul searching and adapt to his squad, that he assembled. Stop being stubborn, your tactics at Rovrum have been found out at this level by the rest of the league, football moves on, adapt or fail i think. I hope he adapts and we start seeing some resemblance of a footballing philosophy to turn the ship around, at the moment we look rudderless and have no identity. It's a hard watch at the minute UTR

This may not be popular but I think the drum needs to go. I don't think it adds anything and more often than not the rhythm is completely off

Especially if the South Stand doesn't want it. The people in the South Stand may well want atmosphere but they draw the line at having a drum down their earholes for 90+ minutes.

Look at it the reverse way Nick, if South Standers generally don't want it, that's democracy. There's more to the stand than a bloke with a drum. Find another way to bolster the atmosphere

I've got a trumpet i could blast out for 90 mins.
