Jozwiak has a lot to do to impress me so far 

Based on my calculations, here's how the pre-season playing time has been spread around after the four first-team pre-season games.


In total:
30 players have been used in the four first-team games A further three players were named on the bench for one or more games but didn't get used. Note: The Total stats will differ from the First-Team (FT) stats if the player has also appeared in any of the U23 and / or U23/U18 combined pre-season friendlies.

I am not sure about the Baldock one maybe Aluko will do ok and provides an alternative that is different 

Imagine Gregory scoring 10 goals a season for us whilst we only paid £4500 to Stoke every week - they wouldn’t be having that ( I thought he had signed for Portsmouth anyway but I could be wrong) 

Jagielka and Davies are currently an absolute must especially when the aerial bombardment is coming in from Cardiff and Middlesbrough Millwall etc 

Agreed but neither Aluko nor Baldock solves that problem either, and I'd rather not block the pathway for Sibley, Watson, Ebosele, Williams & Stretton.

He said in the next 48 hrs or later in the week so then it’s a rolling 48 hrs for all the 48 hrs fans out there

The last two games have given me a slight bit of optimism and eventually I'm looking forward to the season starting.
The situation we're in isn't great but the week leading up to the season kicking off was always something me and my old man looked forward to. This is my 6th pre-season without him and I'm not going to let him down now. This week I'll get more and more excited as I tick the days off leading up to 3pm Saturday.
Win or lose, it's going to be good to be sat in the ground watching a league game again with my fellow DCFC supporters. 

For me Jozwiak has been a massive dissapointment, clearly got some talent but I think collectively we have seen about 30 minutes worth since he arrived...really hope he can prove his worth going forward, but I have my doubts.

Really enjoyed this game. Festy is brilliant  Cashin is very promising. With the triallists we are not far off a good squad.

It’s the hope that kills u 

Wins breed confidence and we’ve not had much of that recently. Can only beat what’s in front of you, what today proved is we have some great young lads with big futures ahead of them, but with the right attitude to put their bodies on the the line for shirt.
No one is getting carried away, but people on here are worried we’re going to roll over and capitulate every game and be cut adrift. Still think our squad is better than Wycombe’s was last season, with some graft and fight we have a chance to survive.  I feel more confident we can compete this season after watching that but I have zero expectations. Just want us to avoid being relegated and if they fight for the shirt every week that’s enough for me, while the mess above needs to be sorted out! 

Past Xmas, more like half-time on 7th August.

Clark is the only one that consistently performed … he was very much part of a pretty pathetic back line .. which still somehow looked even worse when he wasn’t present 
Marriotts contribution was literally nothing 
waghorn was pretty dire most of the year … bar that final game 
Edmondson , mengi ,meh some good and bad.
if u get bielik in and fit that negates most of not what we’ve lost and some 
I’m still horribly concerned and want answers or actual action from the club and Mel come Wednesday but u never know we may fudge it
