Personally, I believe no poster should be receiving abuse from any other poster on this Forum, we’re better than that. This isn’t the Bristol City fans forum.

Got to be, I reckon his agent (Paul Stretford) got told about his investigation last week. With the deal falling through and Stretford being in with Kirchner, Rooney walked to save face.

Just been looking at Ipswich Town's season ticket sales. So far they have sold over 15,000 tickets at an average price of £334.50, thats over £5m in their bank. If we get selling soon at the similar prices, even if we only sell around 12,000 thats over £4m in the clubs funds.

Mike Ashley wants Derby for peanuts and is hoping Andy Appleby's group will fail.  The EFL and Q are now under pressure to get a deal done and thats to save face from previous balls up by both parties. I feel Andy Appleby will get the club and it will happen very quick. Bargain hunter Mike Ashley will turn his attention to Sheffield Utd which is closer to Shirebrook (Sports Direct HQ) than Derby.
The fixtures are released on Thursday and I feel there could be a big announcement on the Friday.

Here's a thought, If they announced the sale of season tickets this week with the assurance from the EFL that we would be able to compete in League One and the Transfer embargo also lifted. If we sold only 12,000 tickets with ehe average price of about £360 that would bring in £4.32m.

Would you turn up to be the Referee and could they use a Pub that sells Real ale. Please find out the date & time, pub venue and please make it a weekend so I can watch.     P.S. I'm willing to pay, after all the Ref needs funding

If we are still in Administration by the next couple of weeks, Q would have to have proof of funding the club for the season. Also the EFL would have to remove the transfer embargo, let us sign on players and sell season tickets. These obstacles would hold up the club in any form of progress if the EFL kepted on. This would also stop prospective buyers making any moves in taking on the club.
The big picture is, Mel put us in this s***. EFL, Steve Gibson and the Gobby Yank at Wycombe put the spanners in the works. Quantuma (picked by Mel) have been very slow in addressing the obstacles. If it was'nt for the fans making protests and contacting local MP's, I'm sure the EFL and Q would be still dragging their feet.

As soon as Ashley and the others get to view the finances internally I can see more trouble popping up. Additional loans, schedule of debts, what is and isn't under the club's control.
The difference between paying creditors the required amount to avoid -15, is likely to be swallowed up and bids amended accordingly to reduce costs to the buyer and reality of promotion in the immediate future.
As it stands we'll be nowhere nearer takeover by the time the fixtures are ready to be announced and the EFL are going to start seriously thinking of chucking us down to the pyramid. And honestly I can't say I'd blame them. What chance is there right now of us being in a position to even have a team/ground in place in 6 weeks?
Either Ashley chucks some of his sizeable wealth at it, clears debts, and is prepared to make massive losses for a few years as we hopefully scramble back up the divisions or I think we'll be supporting a phoenix club in the future.

Credit for our Academy goes down to Darren Wassall and in the 13 years he's produced a lot of talent through that academy.  It's got to be the best outside the premiership.

I think requiring 40 players is about right. this would include current players to sign new contracts and also bringing in youth to top up the U23's and U18's. A lot of these could be free agents. It's not going to be expensive to top up the youth and senior squads with the right deals.

You have got to question the administraters choice with CK. Did they ever have proper proof of funds with him. This story of bank holidays in USA & UK followed by the Money Laundry Association doing their checks all now seems a blanket for him to give him time to raise funds elsewhere. Looks like we've had our 3rd tyre kicker sniffing around the club and more time wasted.

I think the opposite. It’s dawning on the EFL that liquidation is a possibility and they have played their part in kicking the club repeatedly when it’s down (whether justifiably or not). As I said on a previous post, if DCFC were to fold, the EFL as a governing body will be toast, as will all other UK football governing bodies, and their rules and practices in future will be subject to far greater government oversight.
My belief is therefore that the EFL are acting in self preservation.

I would also agree the administrators are doing a simply fantastic job and I also retract all prior falsehoods, verbal and written, for the prophet of Quantuma and do solemnly regret my blasphemous past.

Mel chose this bunch of Administrators and he's been pulling the strings. It's been obvious that he did'nt want Mike Ashley and now it's all balls up. The transfer window is now open, rumours are the current contracted players have'nt been paid for June. Agents for the ones out of contract will be seeking other clubs for them. Other rumour I've heard that so far these clowns have taken £8m in wages from the Rams, no wonder why they were pushing sales through on players to line their pockets. They won't get another job with any other stricken club after their balls up at Derby.

That's true, but if there's no funds in the kitty and no new owner, who's paying them.
