Probably saving a few grand on fuel in that Range being able to go straight to paddle ball from training and games.

I think it's also a massive positive that he seems to just be eager to play football and contribute to what will hopefully be a successful end to the season.
He was reportedly on 35k a week at Stoke. He left by mutual consent to go and play football for a quarter of the season, when he could have just sat around at Stoke and earned 4x a much to do very little. At 34, to walk away from the most he will ever earn again as a player just to play regularly is something you don't see too often.

Just to make a small defence of Paul Warne, for years we've had managers who, regardless of the opposition, refused to budge on their playing principals. The complaint for a long time has been, "we don't have a plan B"! 
Well these days he changes formations, personal, and tactics within the games, to suit what is happening at the time, yet he is still criticised for his lack of tactical awareness. 
Another criticism of him is his poor substitutions, but it seems to me that over the course of this season, his substitutions have won us quite a few points.
I get that you either like the bloke or don't, and there will always be some valid points to use against him, but some of the criticism of him seems baseless if you look at the facts in my opinion.

So Dwight Gayle could be signing if the EFL allow it and Warne has a second striker to fall back on he said, my guess is sits Wickham. Think Gayle will be a similar story to Chris Martin and Jordan Rhodes. An ex prolific championship goalscorer drops to league one and poaches goals for fun.

All but signed. Papers sent off to EFL yesterday apparently.
