Alan Hinton has always been interested in and appreciative of the work I put in to preserve the history and rich heritage of the club going back a long time so it was a great surprise to hear from him that he wanted to send over his iconic match worn, signed white Hummel boots from the early 1970s.
He was one of the first to go against the grain and you had to have confidence in your ability to stand out to that extent, he did of course have ability in abundance and could ping in a cross from any angle with either foot, he was also top scorer in the Championship Winning season in 1971-72.

Ultimately, I cannot tell fans what to do but I would strongly urge people not to put themselves into debt to buy a season ticket.
We are working around the clock to be able to make a breakthrough in the process and will continue to provide transparent and timely updates regarding direct debits.
As a fan myself, I know what the club means to so many of you. But, in these tough financial times, I know it is not worth getting into debt over.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Saturday’s match against Leicester City.

After much anguish I’ve decided not to renew my season ticket. Although my first game was nearly 70 years ago,  due to finances and distance I’ve only had a season ticket for 4 seasons. I’m so pleased I managed it for at least a short time.
My health now means I can’t manage the train to Derby from Bristol and back  in a day. When I do come to matches it’ll mean staying several days with my daughter and going to games with my son and granddaughters. I can’t always manage this and the expense of season ticket plus train fares is now too much for me.
However, I’ll be there v Oxford with my son and 3 of the kids - in spite of difficulty getting my son’s ticket as they said he was 122 years old so couldn’t purchase an adult ticket!
It’s been a rough old time for the club but I feel things are on the up and I’ll be at PP as often as I can.

No. I'm not having this. An 'identifier' was used to point out the player - that was all there was, no hidden agenda, no derogatory point being made, no slight on the person being identified. He's a young black lad, there is no point of education to make.
 

I attend a reunion periodically, amongst the ex workmates are 3 people called Mick, so Mick C,Mick H, and Mick J .If the outtings are described or mentiond to someone who didn`t attend and the person doesn`t  recall someones name(It was 35 years ago ) Mick J is often described as the Black lad .

There was no malice and actually no racism at all in the comment. B4 was purely stating a fact. 
He couldn't remember his name so identified him in another way which was in no way racist. It is a fact that the lad is black.

I totally disagree, if we had a team full of black players and one white player who's name  we didn't know, he would certainly be described as the white player from Man City, get over yourself and keep to topic, if you want to discuss racism, there are plenty of other forums.

Skin colour/ appearance is used to identify people by all sorts of people and it’s not necessarily racist. 

I just cant remember names very well never have or trying spell it.
