I'm sick to death of his game playing, he's clearly an intelligent business man so surely he understands that just continually telling everyone that he has £50m 'waiting' to complete the takeover, does not get the job done. He is a multi-billionaire so of course he has that kind of money sitting about, but unless he puts that down on the table he just looks like a buffer.
If he wants to buy the club, and if he wants it in anything other than a desolate state, walk into Quantumas office tomorrow, slap £10m on the table and tell them that they can have the other £40m next week if they just give him the go ahead.

It's my understanding that TUPE regulations aren't just for liquidation/administration stuff, it applies whenever a business is transferred to a new owner.  So all those situations would probably also apply to normal takeovers too, which would be absolute chaos.  All of Chelsea's players could tear up their contracts tomorrow, for example.

The EFL will be forced to intervene and concede that the new owners hold player registrations. If they fail to do this, there is no precedent or valid reason why Derby should pay football debts.
As an example, Derby County's new owners cannot be forced by EFL to pay the remaining balance of Bielek's transfer fee to Arsenal if they do not then rule that Derby County's new owners DO own Bielek's registration.

Looking to get a transfer to another club is one thing. At least the club would get some needed money. But to try to legally have your contract cancelled is disappointing. Wish they had the same level of commitment that Rooney and many others have shown. If they fail in their legal action and remain with us I would be supprsied to see them on the team sheet again. 

From the massive list of players on our books, Buchanan is the one I'd miss least to be honest.

Quantuma have shown themselves to be useless in a lot of ways all the way through this process, it simply isn’t their decision if the identity and data of the parties involved can be shared. 

Do you think our first team wage bill gets split over 52 weeks? If so that’s just over £96k per week if it’s £5m, meaning an average of just over £4K per week per person if we had a squad of 22 players. I know that’s not how the wage dynamic of a squad would actually be but it’s feasible for us to put some sort of squad together if all the necessary off the field hoops can be jumped through in time.
 

If the worst were to happen and we dropped out of the Football League then sadly that's finito as far as my going to watch Is concerned and I'm sure the vast majority will feel the same. Every respect to the die-hards who would continue to follow Derby County (albeit under another name) but having been a supporter since 1979 and probably missed no more than a dozen home games since then, it just wouldn’t be the same.
Me going to watch my team would be no more so I pray that someone, anyone, even at this late stage, will come forward and rescue this great Club which means so much to so many people.

I think it's unfair that some fans are giving Lawrence stick over this. At the end of the day they're probably mates. We don't know why Kirchner's deal collapsed. He could be completely innocent and he's probably told Lawrence the truth.

Well I’m going to look on the bright side. This week Q will announce a bid has been accepted which avoids a 15 point penalty. The buyer will pay a deposit to cover funding until the deal is completed. Everything will fall into place, squad rebuilding, Wazza and LR back at Moor Farm.

The EFL have published our retained list and Buchanan is on it so the contract has been approved by them. His agent needs to start convicing the interested teams to show how much they want him by paying enough for him not trying to wriggle out of a contract. We have turned bids down of over £1m for him previously.
