Every now & then I get some information passed to me too from an old work colleague, I know exactly who he got it off & in turn who they got it off from within the club, its been pretty spot on information in the past with regards to signings & the kits....I have always asked if they're happy for it to be shared on the forum which they have been, probably because its information passed on through a few people by the time it reaches me. Last season for example I got told Bradley & Washington was done & due to be announced soon as Bradley had been at Clowes HQ.....it was announced that night & the interview clearly showed him at Clowes HQ. As to whether or not anyone on here believes me when I do put information on, I couldnt care less lol🤣

Was used as a right winger all season for Ipswich and even started some big games like against Southampton. Good addition to the forward department on a free but shouldn’t be a starter and definitely won’t be the starting striker.

I won't give too many clues as it might make it a bit obvious as to the players I'd be referring to. Haha!
They've all got Champ or higher experience... they're all in the 21-29 age bracket... I think we (on a whole) will be relatively pleased 😊

Pretty sure he said there was one list with descending players from champ to league one. As we got to Jan and beyond the bottom players on the list started to get reminded we off the list to focus on the champ level players 

Etete would be a decent signing. Young lad, from the area & looks to be a Warne type of forward. Only has 1 year left on his deal so maybe 1 of the many Cardiff players taht they need to get rid of this summer.

Yes please, exactly the sort of player we should looking at. Shouldnt cost too much, had a decent season last season with some impressive stats, only 21 & can play multiple positions.

This would be a very exciting signing if we can pull it off. We need to take the burden away from Mendez Laing. He can’t be our only outlet. It also takes pressure off CBT and Barkhuizen to an extent.
Dembele had a really impressive season at Blackpool and looked a real handful in the game at PP.
OK, he’s unproven at a higher level, but look at how someone like Whittaker adapted to a higher level, so it could be a similar trajectory.
Dembele definitely has the skills that make him able to scale up and be just as dangerous at a higher level.
We need a player who can play centrally as well as on both flanks, so this looks a great fit!

Perfect player to target on paper. Far too good for League One as he showed last year, great age to improve, 1 year left on his contract, position we definitely need.

Nixon has always had contacts in clubs in the North (particularly Wigan). He's like a lot of these journalists - he gets fed information by agents/parties to the players and shares it.
That information he's being given is also necessarily true. Agents do this sort of thing all the time to try and manoeuvre their clients moves/better contracts.

To be fair he clearly has contacts with clubs & agents, especially in the North West. He has been reporting transfer news for years, I doubt he would still be doing that if he knew very little.
You have to remember that clubs & agents are well known for 'leaking' stories in the press for various reasons, whether the story is true or not & whether it comes to fruition is another thing.

Apart from the fact that Thompson doesn’t really do okay. I know he’s ‘one of our own’ and gives 100%, but, other than running around a lot, he’s mid League 1 level at best.
I might get some heat for this view, but be honest, are you happy on the first day of the new Championship season with Thompson in the starting 11, if that’s where we are at, be honest 🤷‍♂️
Again, I’ve no axe to grind with Thompson, he’s clearly Derby through and through and should make a living from the game, but I fear not a player that is going to help us break into the top end of the Champ.

This post is a bit contradictory, isn’t it? 350 senior appearances should be a worry? How?
He’s 29, never played below the Championship and had 3 seasons as a fairly regular PL player, albeit for a poor PL side.
For a side coming up from League One, he would be an excellent signing. Experienced at this level without being too old, versatile to cover at least 2 positions that we need to strengthen. If he’s willing to come, it’s a no-brainer for me.

Can`t forgive Osborn for scoring against us for the unclean in 2015 , it`s a firm no from me ! The West Ham stuff sounds interesting though COYRs

Although I think Brown is a great prospect, one has had Prem experience. Been learning from a great Prem striker in Antonio. 
Played in Europe and scored. Been in the England set ups up to under 20’s. 
 
He’s definitely more Championship ready. And what’s to say they couldn’t play together anyway? Although I personally think Brown could benefit from a league 1 loan
