It can be done. Just not virtual.

If anyone wants to contribute then all they have to do is buy a ticket online (or probably via a telephone call to the now open ticket office) and spend the money. They don’t have to actually go and it can be done from anywhere in the world.

If they’re worried about booking a seat that a fan might want to use to go to the ground then leave it until the last few minutes. I doubt we will actually sell out all of the games so there will be spare seats

Could the club create a default seat all these virtual tickets that are bought are associated to that stack up? Doesn't affect the others fans that attend purchase?

No bad idea I think people should be getting tickets live football not sat at home sorry big fat know from me.

You have to think outside the box in our situation, Wayne Rooney is a very large saleable asset in or position, we could create income from fans of his around the world with this idea

So in summary, we are in administration because high-flying, multi-millionaire businessman Mel Morris accidentally stated in public that he'd eventually be to let the club go for nothing, thus ensuring no buyer with half a brain would table an offer until we're in administration and the club is available for nothing?

How did this bloke ever get rich?

This isnt correct, he negotiated a deal which included the club to be debt free, the deal collapsed, people in these circles then talk between themselves

When all this is over, and we are wallowing near the bottom of division one or two and living sustainably within our means, I don't want to see any of the posters who are now criticising the way Mel Morris overspent complaining. Or saying players are rubbish, or demanding the owner sacks the manager.

All the things people have demanded repeatedly during Mel Morris's tenure.

Are they still allowed to leave on 83 mins? Asking for a friend. Joking aside it was great seeing pretty much everyone staying to the end yesterday and beyond.

  5. Theres one point Mel made about us and how we can influence this position which hasn't been mentioned here, the fans.

We need to continue with the great support from yesterday, fully back the team win or lose, turn up in our numbers and make loads of noise, make the club feel welcoming, we need to continue this so potential owners see the potential in us.

I thought he said that he made it clear that he just wanted the debt covered thus meaning he had zero negotiating room?

He did, this was in the first deal that fell through, from this point on he has showed his hand and all know his start point and makes negotiations more difficult to achieve a good price, I'm just confused why he hasn't reduced price to avoid admin if he is a real fan and a good owner

After a conversation with my brother today he mentioned that he once had a home shirt that he had HUNT 26 printed on the back. Got me thinking what’s the most random player you have had emblazoned on to your shirt to display proudly at the BBG or Pride Park. For me it was the midfield beast that was Martin Kuhl, number 4. Must have been around 93’-94’. No idea why I begged my Dad to spend his hard earned cash on that name and number but I did! ??‍♂️???

Johnathan Hunt and his late winner v Middlesbrough around xmas time if I remember rightly when there was a bit of snow around at the time, cant remember him doing much else in a rams shirt TBH.

I didn't like the substitutions as it seemed to invite more pressure. Morrison had good control of the game and when he went off we couldn't really get out much.

Having said that, it worked this time and Stearman headed everything away. I would much rather have a pro active manager who does things like this than how Rooney was last season at least.

They went two up top with there changes, clipping and throwing it in the box, it worked today, we looked focused and very motivated to keep it clean during the late minutes.
