When they come out and front up but the manager doesn't, what do you feel?

Fans are gone, it’s over. 

There’s been plenty of polls and a few ‘Warne Out’ comments, but thought I’d start the definitive ‘Warne Out Out’ post, which as fans of a particular Sarf London comedian means ‘properly out!’
No messing, I was on his side at first, but am tired of the utter banality of our football; mid table mediocrity and I don’t care what he did at Rotherham.
Please can we bring back some McLaren-esque footy, something to actually ‘entertain’ the fans? I’m sure I read somewhere that football should be entertaining 🤷‍♂️

Just taking us backwards & making is worse every week 

Sorry, but I completely disagree. The longer this situation is allowed to continue the more long term damage will be done to the club.
Were there any signs of improvement whatsoever I could understand advocating for more time but the simple fact is things are getting worse, not better.

Disappointed in the manager, disappointed in the coaches, disappointed in the players, disappointed not many of the managers signings are contributing enough, disappointed that fans and players argue, disappointed Blackpool wasn't the turning point, in terms of performances', disappointed in how i let the football effect my weekend, disappointed i feel i need to write this. 

I think it's time for Warne to go. The football isn't improving, we aren't working or building towards anything, we aren't entertaining or coherent in our play. As fans, I think there needs to be something to feel optimism and hope about, and to look forward to and it's just gone for me now. Time to hit reset.

Surely there is a tipping point where keeping him costs more than sacking him?

Can we afford not to sack him?
If crowds go down 1.5k, then it's no longer economical to keep him.
 

You also have to take what Warne says in the press with a pinch of salt, he’s trying to keep his job and stop the players from going under. At this point, I think you can largely ignore what he says in the press as it will be very different to his thoughts and real opinion.

Definitely. Really liking the idea of bringing John eustace in. Did a great job at Birmingham.

I think it’s just a case of him being the wrong fit for this club. Happens to players and it happens to managers.
I wish him well but if he has any integrity, he’ll go.

“I didn’t think our performance was bad” get him sacked before this interview is finished. 

As soon as the supporters turn like that on the manager/team, something has to change. 
 
This isn’t going to change on the pitch anytime soon so we have to do something about it now.

Yeah... I'd rather do that again than watch another 90 minutes of football under Warne based on today.

He has to own his decisions, the world and his dog could see we needed firepower and attacking threat this season and we failed massively on that front.

Not a chance Clowes still thinks Warne is his man. Must be down to finance which is understandable.
This season needs rescuing pretty sharpish.

There are some people who seem to have convinced themselves that Warne is a fantastic manager at this level (regardless of any other considerations - club, squad, whatever) and seem to be willing to believe literally anything to avoid having to confront the reality that he really isn't.

I disagree. These players are a lot better than what they’re showing.
They may not buy in to what they’re being told to do or have lost confidence, but this group of players should be performing a lot higher than they are.

Just because the Morris years were toxic with hiring/firing doesn’t mean DCFC cannot sack a manager ever again.
Seeing things like “give him till December”!!!??? It’s abundantly clear he’s not up to the job. Get him gone before any more damage is done. Small mentality manager at a big club.

Please, just please walk away. It is so obviously not working. PW is not the right man for this club. He speaks well enough, but his style of football is not something I can relate to. I get that we may not be blessed with the best players, but surely we should be seeing better footie than this. No fun, no excitement. Nothing. I don’t mind losing if we are at least trying to play some progressive stuff. But losing while playing neanderthal nonsense really gets me going. It’s just depressing.
