At least we're not Reading! 2-0 up at Shrewsbury and conceded two in injury time to lose 3-2. It does make you wonder what could've happened to us after being relegated with financial struggles. A good owner can make a lot of difference..

International break is not what we want for once. In this form you want the next game ASAP.

Very encouraging. Got our heads in front in a ding-dong first half, deflated the opposition immediately after HT and then dominated the rest of the game and should have won by more.
Hopefully, this confirms that the home form is sorted, which will make disgruntled fans a bit happier. If we can start giving 90+ minutes performances away too and perform like this consistently, we'll keep rising in the table.

I’d rate Clowes’ ownership abilities better if he accepted that it was a mistake/misjudgment/whatever and cut the losses, rather than just continue with the hope that things get better.
Performances are poor. They haven’t really been great during Warne’s whole tenure, but now the results are poor, there’s nothing to fall back on.
The longer we wait, the more chance we have of a third season in League 1. I don’t think there’s any chance of things turning around, everything is against him now.

If Rowett ever stepped back into the hotseat here I would not go to another game until he's gone...utter crap style of football and remember how we meekly rolled over against a lot of teams ...its a no from me ...Millwall fans here working with me tonight glad hes gone says it all

Had 24 hours to think it over and I think I have now given up on the Warne appointment.
I was fully behind replacing Rosenior with him at the time. I saw in him a manager with knowledge of the division, multiple promotions and the sort of attitude that would motivate.
What we’ve ended up with is a string of poor signings, an underdog mentality and a playing style that actively makes me switch off. I also have found his attitude towards Radio Derby and us as supporters to be disappointing.
It hasn’t worked and I don’t think it’s going to.
At this point I would rather see us make a change now rather than potentially waste more of this season trying to make this work.

At this point, I'd not mind taking the money for them. The money would be much more valuable to us in the short term, especially if it lets us get a new manager and some players in this Jan.
I'd love the romantic idea of our academy kids bringing the club back and taking us up the leagues, but I don't think we have that luxury of time at the moment. I'd love Cash to stay with us for his whole career, but imagine how much we could do with 3m odd quid in this division. We could grab JCH and still have 2.5 million spare.
     It's definitely pragmatism vs romanticism.

Having slept on it, another major concern is losing our best players in January if we're not competing for promotion. If offers come in, we'll have to sell Bird, Cashin etc. Wildsmith is one of the best keepers in the league, he might fancy being a number one in the Championship. Then it weakens the team even more.
Really big couple of months coming up and we've got a manager on the ropes in the 10th round.

I’m Warne Out (sounds like an AA meeting!)
I don’t believe David will sack him and his merry entourage whilst there is still an outside chance of the play offs.
David knows the autos are probably gone now. It would take a huge turnaround in performances and results.
The problem will come in January, if we still have a chance, would David trust him with any sort of transfer budget and would David veto selling of any our younger players such as bird, cashin. If not we could end up with a team full of aging journeymen playing Div 3 style football.
I want success for DCFC, but also want a team of players and coaches that I can believe in and have more passion about than I do right now.

Followed rapidly by relegation. His football has never been attractive.
Rosenior had us playing football (on the grass stuff). I was never bored by it. Warnes non football keep giving the ball to the opposition bores and frustrates me. It is an offence to football.
He is not building for the future, and with his record of relegations he never has done.
    Everyone to their own eh!

I cannot justify the outlay at the moment travelling from Kent all over the country to watch this dross
When were last in Div3 I travelled to nearly every game and the first season wasn't great but i never stopped going but on the long journey home lately I keep asking myself is it worth the journey and time and money ? ...I wont be back until Warne has gone I'm very sorry to say 😥 You tried PW but it just hasn't worked out and time to leave us please....
apologies as makes me look like a fairweather fan and I'm not that at all ....just so gut wrenching...only a game blah blah but makes me feel so very sad this evening
So difficult to break a habit you love of going to football 😥

Ipswich recognized it just wasn’t working under Paul Cook - a manager with a decent reputation and who many thought would get Ipswich going. It just never worked out for him there.
Paul Warne isn’t a bad manager. But what he is trying here just won’t work. The fans won’t accept it. Technical footballers won’t accept it. We have to get rid and bring in a manager who will look at our better players and play to their strengths.
Getting rid of Liam Rosenior was an awful lack of judgement.
Keeping Warne would be even worse.

This is what it boils down to.  If results were mixed but there were signs of a plan, a project, some sort of identity for the clubs style long term, then I think you’d have more fans on his side.  I see no sign of it, nobody wants to turn up week in week out for us to create 1-2 chances the entire game and maybe score one of those if we’re lucky.
I also don’t buy this “we’re just not taking our chances” - I know not everyone agrees with xG but we have an xG of 1.32 per game and we’ve scored 1.5 per game so we’re scoring more than our expected goals.  We’re not missing great chances, we’re just not creating them.  We’re led to believe we are and then we focus on the one or two chances we missed and think that’s the problem.  Every team misses chances but the good teams create enough to convert them.  We create very little.  No team has a 100% conversation rate on chances.  We simply do not create anywhere near enough and it shows because barely anything happens to get fans off their seat.  Football is an entertainment business and we’re not being entertained.
I wen’t off on a tangent there but in short, there’s little excitement and mixed results.  Unbeaten in the 5 previous league games sounds good, but we only won 2 of them so that’s now 2 wins in 7 league games, that’s poor by anyone’s standards.

I was the same.  I voted not even under any pressure to go or something but not now. Trudge to home games from Cambs with no enthusiasm other than to support team as ever. I was at neither Posh nor Blackpool but comments on here from non-reactionary posters with no agenda suggested score lines papered over issues. Warne's reaction to criticism has also not been great and cemented my views. Just want him gone as the club's spirit is draining away
