VAR only came in because of the constant abuse the officials received from managers, players, pundits and fans alike.

Scrapping VAR will make the game so much quicker and more enjoyable (you can celebrate a goal without the doubt of whether it will be pulled back for something minor).

But scrapping VAR will only work if officials are treated as humans and we accept their mistakes are part of the game.

The last 2 years have been an unfathomable delight.

Have you any idea what a pleasure it is to be an established PL side playing under what I--and I would imagine most Forest fans--consider the best manager since BC? An excellent manager but clearly a great person and stalwart for the club. Will go onto much bigger things than NFFC.

I'm as invested as I've ever been as a Forest fan. I'll take this over relegation fears in the championship, League One, and playoff heartache anyday..

For saying he has spent 150m + on players, playing low percentage possession football and grinding out results doesn’t appeal to me as a manager doing a good job

Yet another disguised anti Warne thread that I've been sucked into with the same old arguments from the same old posters from either side, it's getting boring.

Can the mods rename the topics for what they are, I suggest this one should be 'Anti Warne Part 27' or if we want to keep in the same vein maybe 'Sam Rush Ate My Hamster'?

Doesn’t it show what a strong anti-Warne feeling there is amongst all the fans ?

Just do what I do watch You tube replays of the RAMS from the 70s , listening to John Motson, Barry Davies ,and Hugh Johns. Wearing Ox blood Doc Martens a panda collar shirt and a Wrangler denim jacket with a silk scarf tied around my wrist .Chanting "come and have a go if you think your hard enough".

My Mrs has left me But  the dogs stuck by me (ATM) !

I had doc martens and a silk scarf, those were the days 🤣

I think that is being a bit harsh and you are misinterpreting his point (IMO). If we had been winning our home games then to have lost only our second away game (out of 7 and having won 4)) wouldn't have been so much of a disaster pretty much regardless of the opposition but particularly in the case of a team like Shrewsbury. After their win at the weekend, they are ranked 7th best in the league for home form. A "club of our size" is irrelevant and some of us need to get this divine right mentality out of our heads. We're a league one team with, generally speaking, league one players.

I understand what you are saying, but we are a league one side with a league one manager, but with proven championship players and shouldn’t accept losing to Shrewsbury even if our home form was good

  6. I read his comments saying if our home form this season was anything like last season, then losing away to Shrewsbury, would not be a disaster. Losing any time away to Shrewsbury is a disaster that just shows the bloke he’s not up for that job. For a club our size that is not acceptable.

Anyone who is familiar with football has to realise that it is now a question of "when" and not "if".

The writing is on the wall, all the signs are there with fan reactions, player reactions, same old interview stereotypes etc

The answer to "when" should be "now". No better time, no time to delay. Let's not waste any more precious fixtures

We need an update from Big Trav 😀

The worrying thing for me is that apart from the fact we seem to be getting worse and the players dont seem arsed to put in a shift for him (especially midfield). Its that he doesnt seem to have a clue what the problem is or how to sort it. We are having exactly the same problems that we had in quite a few games last season.

In his interview after the Shrewsbury match. He said something is missing if I remember rightly he said the same thing last season on several occasions,if he still hasn’t worked it out how long are we expected to wait for him to work it out?

No significant pressure if we don't finish top 6?

How many season tickets do you think we will sell with another season of Warne and no top 6 finish.

Can't afford to sack him, will quickly become can't afford not to.

If we still intend selling Casin/Bird in January then that will fund it

If our budget for next season was £2mil, hypothetically, then I’d rather spend £1.5m of that getting rid of Warne & have a new bloke with 500k, rather than Warne with £2mil.

The season isn’t a write off, we can still easily make the top 6. I think that only happens if he goes.

The impending sale of Cashin and Bird could be used to pay off Warne
