Well, I hate to side with Forest fans on anything but their club is well and truly screwing their fans over.

They’ve announced their season ticket prices and they’re frankly disgusting. Tickets going up 200% in 2 years, shifting age categories so some tickets going up £700… you name it, they’re doing it. My missus, for my sins, has a season ticket and hers has gone up £200 since the Championship - and this is after giving them money during COVID to keep them going.

Meanwhile, the club gleefully crow about having 10,000 on a season ticket waiting list. Pay up, or another customer (not fan, customer) will do.

Latest in a long line of things where their ownership really doesn’t get the difference between fans and customers. Premier league? You can keep it.

I seem to remember a few seasons ago they were cheap as chips so they could get the younger generation interested.

Your covering all bases here I think, in case you have an aberration and somehow go down, you can come on here and take the piss .  Along way to go.

There seems to be a panic on amongst the Red Dogs I know that we come up, you go down and we beat you next season.  They really have a downer on their team at the minute but there's always Harry Arter.   I can't actually see any way you can drop when the team above you hasn't won in a third of a season and has had 8 points deducted and still don't look like dropping.  Last year you'd both have been knackered. The bottom 3 this year are crap -Sheff Utd and defensively horrific-  the other two.

If the first two did happen it would be similar to what happened in 2008 where in reality you should be beating us as long as you have players with the b******* for the job for the first round of games and much tighter after that.

In a perverse way i'd rather Leicester were still around having 2nd year syndrome should we get up, as losing or winning to Derby or Forest and neither really giving a s*** seems to send them into meltdown and their fans are total sacks of the highest order from top to bottom.

They have even returned 500 tickets for the Everton away game on Saturday

You made me have a look. It’s stark the difference between the top 6 goals scored and all the rest. The top two are the lowest scorers in the top 6, strangely. But even pompey, the lowest scorers, are 9 goals better off than the next highest outside the top 6. Posh are 17 goals clear!

and those next highest scorers are reading and Charlton right down in the bottom half, which is a bit weird.

as much as we all like free flowing, high scoring football, I think the evidence shows time and time again that it’s the teams with the best defences that win things.

As the saying goes, goals win matches ,defences win leagues

Seen a couple of articles online suggesting that their appeal is likely to backfire. Their original deduction was reduced from 6 points to 4 on the basis of 'full cooperation' and rather idiotically, they've now thrown any goodwill under the bus. With the PL originally having sought an 8 point deduction, it might well be that that is precisely what Forest end up with, only this time, with no right to appeal.

It couldn’t happen to a nicer club

I really hope the club are monitoring the regulars on Social Media that have sold tickets throughout the last two seasons to get in the highest points category and they are stripped of their memberships

They should do what Leeds do, they randomly select members who have to collect the ticket at the away ground and provide ID when they collect it.

I mentioned Adams, I read an unsubstantiated report elsewhere on tinterweb. I did use the word "apparently" and, when asked what I meant, explained about the unsubstantiated report elsewhere on tinterweb.

Without Adams in the sick bay we still appear to have 11 players unavailable  due to injury/knocks and a 12th suspended.

As many of the injured are the older players maybe Warne’s tough training sessions are having an effect

Tickets available for the last three home games.

    Blackpool 1,634.

    Leyton Orient 3,686.

    Carlisle 381.

    Only individual seats for Carlisle.

Hopefully they might open some of the away section to home fans for the Carlisle game

Their argument is the club statement was they couldn’t compete as a newly promoted club without parachute payments the previous season.

tough. Take money for a season and get relegated and build back up. That was Norwich’s model for years. They don’t have a right to stay in the PL more than one season

Brentford and Luton did it without parachute payments

I only wish they could but how could they do it? They can't assume the keeper is faking it and they can't make them go off for treatment.

They could stop players going to the touch line when a player is receiving treatment
