Exactly. I couldn't stomach listening to the interview he did with Dawes on Radio Derby. If you've put your (beloved?) local football club into administration for the vultures to scrap over.... really, what is there to be said??

Do you know, I find this thread a refreshing tonic from all the shenanigans the club finds itself in currently so thank you for your contributions. ?
Now, maybe rules wouldn’t allow in those days but wouldn’t it have been simpler for Millwall to use their away kit that day and us to play in our black and white ?
Also, didn’t a similar thing happen elsewhere where we had to use another team’s kit ? I’m wracking my brain here because I’m sure I’ve seen a photo of us in another kit but I just can’t think of the match.

Me an’ all, can’t help thinking he’s got too much pleasure out of this for my liking. Is he as vociferous about Reading FC’s accounts ? (Genuine question that as I don’t know the answer)

I try and avoid him so no idea. Perhaps he could donate all of the money he has gained talking and writing about us to us or those made redundant.

I take your point but our useless CEO has to take a big portion of the blame.
I mean what exactly did Stephen Pearce actually do? What was his job supposed to be? Considering he was first Finance Director and later CEO can we not deduce that he was possibly the biggest driver of our kamikaze accounting? Perhaps even taking more of the blame than Mel? (Who of course has to shoulder a lot of blame)

You're right in much of what you say, but the EFL did introduce some new sanctions in June of this year, purely coincidentally of course, which had the effect of strangling DCFC alone in respect of making changes to the playing squad. 
And they've never adequately addressed the transgressions of teams who cheated and connived their way to promotion and, in one case, the PL title. So forgive me if I don't hold them in quite such high regard. 

Except the EFL originally signed off the amortisation approach and then changed their minds after allegedly receiving pressure from other clubs.
They didn't accept the result of the first hearing - so spat their dummies out with an appeal.
Continually pushed to have the points penalty applied last season so thus their actions were trying to punish us last year.
Ignoring the above, and going with the black/white - the EFL's rules are punishing the fans and not the owners who are responsible. 
So yes, whilst Morris and Co have done an unbelievably bad job running this club financially, the EFL have also not covered themselves in much glory.

I’m sure the salary Mr Pearce has earned during his employment at the club plus any severance pay due will ensure he’s more comfortable financially than those who were in the first batch of redundancies.
Forgive me shedding no tears over his fate.

I enjoyed the ride, and didn't feel any signing at the time was a 'bad' player. I thought Johnson was a huge coup. I placed my trust in our ownership, and I think it's fair to say we enjoyed the ride and therefore implicitly trusted MM that it wouldn't ever come to where we are today. I think some fans questioned the spending, the more switched on ones, but were generally happy to go with it as we all thought the promised land would arrive sooner or later.
Sadly, Pearce I would rather suspect is out of a job soon. Ultimately, a company has gone into administration on his watch. Doesn't look good on the CV. Whether he did or didn't ever question MM, maybe we will only find out in future years but he has ultimately failed as much as MM has.
When (if) we get a new owner I hope SP leaves without it costing us a fortune. I'm not sure if it will be as easy as just making him redundant on notice pay....

Well done on your perseverance @loweman2.  ? He looks a nice older man in that photograph, you’d never think he was a very tough cookie looking at him, certainly not one to take liberties with.
You’ll have to tell us how you got him to change mind after his initial reluctance to your requests sometime.
