Gringo got a reaction from r_wilcockson in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
It will be MSD, they need the club to keep trading/playing until they get their money back they have security already so it is no bug deal to them

The £5m will not be able to be touched by the administrators for the club as it will go into ESCROW and will form part of the consideration if a deal is struck to purchase the club. it is basically a put your money where your mouth is statement and will rule out people like the Spanish school boy and the fake sheik

That is factually incorrect, they had a charge and debenture over the club and a mortgage on the ground when they left, these were paid off by Morris (see companies house documents). I have no love for GSE they thought they could make a fast buck they spent nothing then bailed out, I think being owned by Private Equity or a wealth fund is not a good move other than to take us out of admin, they would buy the stadium it is true but then leverage it again to get some of their cash back. We need a wealthy individual(s) with a medium term 5 year plan and super deep pockets, I believe the USA will come to our aid, I still think David Tepper will bid as he now owns an MLS club Charlotte FC and there are obvious synergies.

A lot of premier league teams would bite his hand off for that deal..they have been pushing for zero promotion or relegagtion for years sadly..

Gringo got a reaction from SaffyRam in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
Boro's P&S figures will imo not be compliant with the EFL regulation, I suspect that threatening to sue, and the EFL are the only party he could sue is part of a cunning plan to get leverage in the negotiations about his P&S situation, he will of course blame Covid but it looks like that ship has sailed.
minus 9 points would do nicely

Gringo reacted to RoyMac5 in Wayne Rooney press conference
There's a piece in today's Sun where Rooney says he understands how tough things can be for the staff because his Mum is a dinner lady at the school he went to and she might be about to lose her job. #emotionalintelligence.
"The England legend is determined to treat all his Rams’ staff — from the players to the cleaners — with the respect they deserve.
Rooney, kept in the dark for weeks by outgoing owner Mel Morris over the club’s issues, said: “Communication is key.
“My mum is in exactly the same position. My mum is still working at the same school I went to — as a dinner lady.
There’s discussions over whether that school gets closed down. She doesn’t know whether she’ll have a job or not.
So I know how life works and the struggle many people have with bills or mortgages and putting food on the table.
I’ve gone through that first-hand as a child. I know a lot of people and family who go through it on a daily basis.
The best way to handle it is to be open and honest. If not, people will see through it.
Transparency and honesty means a lot, even if it is a tough decision that gets made and people lose their jobs..."

One failed football chairman who lead his club into administration leaps to the defence of another failed football chairman who lead his club into administration
Colour me surprised.

I listened to it because i knew the administrators were being interviewed but as usual Jordan decided to do his usual hatchet job on Rooney as soon as he got chance. The guy is a complete and utter ******.

I just listened his presser and I have to say I felt very emotional through it, I am not at all sentimental but this bought a lump to my throat, I doubt there is another manager in all 4 leagues that I would rather have than Wayne at the moment, any criticism of him now would be tantamount to treason.
cometh the hour cometh the man.

I doubt very much he is drawing a salary at the moment, but will be too modest to mention it, it must be very wearing for you to be so cynical with everything to do with Wayne

So you don't like him! No probs,
Lets all get behind him and the players, nothing else matters now if you love Derby. Our survival is at stake and Rooney is a leader I'd follow into battle.

So not Rooney himself, just his PR team?
Come on fella, give the bloke a break. He's acted with tremendous dignity throughout all this while giving his all to keep the players motivated.
