Thank you for the kind words again everyone it truly means a lot to me and the mrs! An update on the rollercoaster  of emotions is as my messages last week there was fluid under the babies skin which shouldn't have been there so we had to go to grottingham on Thursday  for a CVS,  the experts had a scan before the test and I quote "we don't really know why you were sent here as at the minute everything seems to be fine, the down syndrome risk came back as 1 in 1668 which is good so they've told us to assume everything is normal and we need to go.back at the  beginning of January for another scan to see what's what. To say I was a mess this last week was an understatement (so much so I was odd work sick) but this news was amazing and means at least until next month we can carry on as normal and enjoy christmas. ?

Good luck, I think pregnancy is prep for when they actually arrive - you think this bit is the worst time for worrying, and then it just keeps on getting worse and worse forever!!

Hey guys, after not going to sleep until half 3 this morning due to all sorts of things running through my brain we went for the scan this morning at 8, after a little bit of a wait we were seen to be told that the baby was absolutely fine, had a heartbeat, 2 legs, 2 arms, was exactly where he/she should be and they didn’t know what caused the bleeding but there was nothing to suggest it was to do with the baby. 
Move been absolutely petrified of the worst over the last couple of days but being told that was genuinely the best thing to ever happen to me. Over the moon ? not much to look at just yet as it’s only been cooking for 9 weeks 2 days but here they are! ?

This has happened to us before in different circumstances, all I will say is, a bleed doesn't always mean its the end of a pregnancy, so theres always hope until there isnt!

Sorry for lack of replies to other people who have quoted me, a few days  ago my fiancée rang me at work to say she was bleeding, we have an emergency scan booked in for Friday (how the duck it can be an emergency and wait 5 days from booking is beyond me) but it’s not looking great, either way I’m sure I’ll get to be a ‘proper’ dad one day. I love my stepdaughter to the end of the earth but to be able to say ‘I made him/her’ is all I’ve ever wanted. I wasn’t sure whether to post this in here or the depression thread but the not knowing until Friday is properly killing me. Either way I just want to know for closure if nothing else. 

My wife is due January 25th. Really excited and cant wait to meet him.
Only thing terrifying me is the money side of things!!

Had the pleasure of driving to the southwest and back this weekend. Bit of M5 from M42 to M4 in both directions was awful, people hogging the middle lane meaning slow overtakers doing 65 in the fast lane, then nobody getting out of the way once they'd finally overtaken.
Drives me mad and makes journeys take so much longer.
Drove in France recently and never had this issue the whole time. So annoying.

When driving on the A38 with a Mercedes/BMW/Audi as close as possible to the rear of my car, despite being able to see 3 slower cars in front of me, and I'm clearly waiting for them to move over so I can overtake.
I get annoyed.
When I then move over and I get a really long stare as if I am responsible for slow drivers ahead of me.
I get exasperated.
The Mercedes/BMW/Audi then goes in front but drives slower than they were previously, but refuse to move over to let me pass.
Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, starting to accept it now I think. Was a massive shock for us, even the vet didn't see it coming at all so never really got chance to say bye properly which hurts. 
BUT
Getting there I think. Will be a while before I want anything to do with another dog - very difficult to see them at the moment.
I'm okay but don't like being on my own in the house - too quiet, too empty.
