Nixon has always had contacts in clubs in the North (particularly Wigan). He's like a lot of these journalists - he gets fed information by agents/parties to the players and shares it.
That information he's being given is also necessarily true. Agents do this sort of thing all the time to try and manoeuvre their clients moves/better contracts.

Just finished A Perfect Spy be Le Carre. Got better and better after a slowish start, the different style took me a bit of getting used too.
Got Klara and the Sun to read next after recomendations on here.
Trying to not read another Le Carre straight away! Finally gonna read Tinker, Tailor etc after loving the tv show back in the day. Guy at work recomended the Klara Triolgy, which is a nice link to my next book.

As utterly brilliant as the first two.

He seems to have spent a lot of time on loan at lower level clubs which doesn’t immediately scream quality.
He may be a late developer but it’s a step up to the championship and a gamble on his ability to improve.
Will be interesting to see whether he actually ends up in the championship or simply moves to an ambitious League One club.

Constantly responding to people like Trav with this sarcy comments is probably the reason why genuine ITKs on this forum don’t share information. 
Just chill and get excited for the window. If he’s right - great! If he’s wrong, no harm done.
