I thought this myself when watching, however, to obtain that tally, we would have likely had to get results against those 3 teams meaning their points total would differ, and the entire hypothetical crumbles once you consider the reality v raw numbers.
Tenuous, but does provide a bit of a reprieve for Paul 😂

    Summer window:
Curtis Nelson - 9 - Imperious at the back and remarkably consistent
Callum Elder - 6 - Provided good cover in the squad, but injuries stopped him making a big impact
Joe Ward - 7 - Unfortunate injuries but best crosser in the squad, and the goals v Portsmouth may prove to be vital
Sonny Bradley - 7 - Slow start but majority of games he's played he's done well.
Josh Vickers - 7 - Great cover and looked decent when called upon.
Kane Wilson - 8 - Great to watch and done well despite rarely playing his favoured RWB role.
Martyn Waghorn - 7 - Important goals early on and a good character to have in the dressing room.
Conor Washington - 6 - His goal v Exeter (H) is one of my favourites this season but injury stopped him making a real impact
Tyrese Fornah - 6 - Not sure what happened to him,. showed glimpses and then disappared from first team picture. Great assist                                     for the winner v Bristol Rovers (H) though!
Elliot Embleton - N/A - Looked decent then never saw him again.
Ryan Nyambe - 8 - Made a real difference to defensive stability when he came in. Glad we've got him on a longer contract.
Tyreece John-Jules - 7 - The 3 points he secured v Port Vale (A) could be huge. Real shame about the injuries.
    Winter:
Ebou Adams - 10 - Solid individually and improved the collective. Can't ask for much more from a January signing.
Dwight Gayle - 8 - Scored vital goals when we had nothing else upfront. Helped steady the ship at a critical time.
Corey Blackett-Taylor - 6 - Best yet to come hopefully. Loved the assist v Portsmouth however.
Max Bird* - 9 - Arguably played his best football in a Derby shirt after coming back on loan (technically).
    Extensions:
Nathaniel Mendez-Laing - 10 - His most prolific season ever. Our talisman really this season, even without being top scorer.
Eiran Cashin - 10 - A rock defensively, but also brilliant on the ball. His 2nd half performance v Oxford was colossal.
Jake Rooney - 7 - Looked incredibly bright early on prior to injury, hopefully can rediscover this form next season.

What was the xC (expected conviction) on Marinakis though? Maybe he's been lucky so far, and if he keeps getting himself into the wrong positions, eventually his luck will change.

There are plenty of people who committed those crimes currently walking free due to fundamental failures in the judicial process. This often means justice is in no way delivered, in fact the current legal process often prevents justice from prevailing for the crimes you explicitly mention.
If you honestly base moral judgement on legal verdict, then you're wildly naïve. Simple as that.

Nice to see you care more about others' claims and suspicions than what courts of law decide. And then use "alleged" to chicken out of passing it as your own opinion due to fear of libel and lack of proof.
I presume if someone takes you to court and you are cleared you'll remain an (alleged) rapist/wife-beater/pedo for life (and they can happily slander you hiding behind a screen)
PS No affiliation to said club or individual just find it really cheap.

That’s a good question actually- (without tempting fate at all) , who would we prefer to go up in third if we got the auto second spot….??
Me…. I would like Lincoln to do it…. Failing that Posh cos i love how they play football and always go for it.
BW play nice football but there’s an element of ‘arrogance’ with them that I don’t warm to and Evatt’s whining about a threadbare squad and forward line (when they were able to go out and buy Collins in Jan) has just got on my t*ts.

If we could cherry pick any team to play for this match it would be Carlisle at home. If we mess it up its on us.
I've been bad for this, but i think all this talk of Posh's weakened side is nervous chat.
FWIW i think Bolton will win on sat but not by more than +2 GD which means we'd have to lose by -2GD at home for the first time this season.
Hopefully we get a early goal, hopefully whilst not match fixing Simmo isn't bothered if we win and we can all relax with a promotion in the bank come Saturday night.

Tell you what's amazing- how Bird and Hourihane have got 5G/7A and 5G/8A, respectively, when Warne's tactic is ''not to use them''... Outstanding goal contribution stats for central midfielders; almost like you're just generalising since Bird particularly has also played some of his best football in a Derby shirt this season. Funny that. 🤔

100%, we went into the season without our desired striking options. The one he did get was Washington... who's been injured (there's a theme of mainly older players getting injured here). He's been polishing a turd for much of the season. We can argue about who's fault that ultimately is, but it's all with the cloud of restrictions over it so we will never really know. He tried to get his Ebou with Fornah but it turned out he wasn't exactly that type of player - whether that was poor scouting or not, could be another question. Personally, think Fornah does have things to offer and could've been used more but he's another one who's been injured in the background.

Warne has pretty much been trying to find Ebou Adams since the start of the season. Then he did, and not long after his other best midfielder in Max Bird got injured. Korey Smith was also injured at this time. His only fault was sticking with Hourihane for so long even when there were other options.
