BriggRam reacted to Jortat in The Administration Thread
Let’s just hope everyone gets behind CK now and I think he has shown he is not a tyre kicker as he is addressing the correct problems first.
A lot of the criticisms towards him seem petty considering the alternative of liquidation.
There may have been a few bidders in the background but he has come back and stepped up to put his money where his mouth is and trying to right the wrongs from our previous owner.
I am just pleased that we were lucky enough to get someone like him to take a chance on us as the other option of losing my club would have totally devastated me.
I know the takeover is not complete yet but I for one will be giving him 100% support and at last I feel positive about Derby’s future which is great after the last year of depression and negative news surrounding our great club.

Time to change the lyrics, and make it more topical and relevant to our situation.
I won't try and circumvent the swear filter, but I'm sure you'll get the drift if you see this topic before it disappears!
Mel Morris is a banker,
He wears a bankers hat,
He said he loved our Derby,
But he's a ducking twit.
He said that he would sell us,
And wanted just a pound,
But he's a lying bar steward,
And took away our ground.

There is more to Kirchners bid than is being let on I think, in terms of his weath and/or who is backing his bid.
Gary Cook and Paul Stretford wouldn't join forces with someone who hasn't got 2 quid to his name, and for Rooney to back his bid, he has surely been tipped off from Stretford that he is the real deal.
For me, just opinion, but I have a feeling there are other wealthy people involved in this bid.
Let's remember, this is the person that John Percy described as "the dream".

I keep saying Mel has made loads of mistakes but to suggest the EFL haven’t had it in for DCFC and Mel Morris is inaccurate IMO.
The other narratives are Boro and Wycombe making claims against th club/MM

If he's involved Derby will become the most reviled Club in England.
It would be cheating the system to the highest degree and I'm sure that HMRC will be bombarded with complaints from the public.
If its actually legal to do it, it ducked well didn't ought to be.
He shouldn't be allowed back near football full stop!

We have been totally ducked over by the EFL and a curly haired duck.......and Mel Morris..
I don't believe it was in Mels intention, but it has ducked us, but I solely believe the EFL is the reason we are in our predicament, they have slaughtered us, and continue to do so, how the footballing world can continue to stand by and ignore the corruption and mismanagement is a Scur on our national game
