Had one try and splash me in a big puddle when it had rained heavily once, he ended up unexpectedly stopping in the middle of the puddle and having to stick his feet down ankle deep in water. I stood there pointing and laughing at him and he got very angry, rode about 50 meters up the street, stopped, shouted back at me that I was a w****** and rode off again.

Any big consumer based business uses cheap labour, and cuts corners to avoid tax.  Nike, Amazon, Sony, Tesco even Primark.  If you stopped buying products based on company's business practices you'd have to live in a tent, live off the land, and make your own clothes out of old potato sacks and frog spawn...

I've had the one on the right for 29 years, must've had at least 10378 brews (one per day) in it & still going strong...

I don't drink hot drinks and I'd be afraid to break it now. My Rams beer glass gets plenty of use....
