So all we need to find is an English Trappist monk, with no internet access, who happens to be a billionaire and fancies running a football club when he's not ritually self-flagellating or praying.

How hard can it be? ?

    LOL!

The blokes 34, seemingly built his wealth on technology. And likes to tweet. That is his crime right now, he's taken a nice photo at the game with his missus and posted it on his social media profile.

He's making far too much noise!

A win here and that's 6 games unbeaten but also 10 points from that time. It would be a massive fillip. Lose and it's relegation form regardless of a points deduction. Yet another draw and it's relegation form with the points deduction.

Wins are massive. Right now they're so important so we can build confidence and close the gap. At what point do we take a few more risks to go for 3 points instead of just the 1?

Start Colin but also have Stretton on the bench. It seems weird he's been relegated too the U23s when we don't have a fit centre forward apart from him.

Am i imagining Stretton being injured? Sure he had a knock that kept him out? Might be wrong, because you are right, needs to be on the bench

    Hi Jim,

I do think it's best you listen to all supporters as the handling with Mel Morris was poor. I'm sorry if that offends but I didn't agree with RAMS trust being the only opinion or supporters view which mattered. Derby is all of our football club not just RAMS trust and I believe you guys should of been on here before representing us.

With that in the past and things moving forward, Maybe a MOD from here could be on the Rams Trust or we could have a section for questions which we feel needs to be relayed/ Answered. As the RAMS trust is the voice of the Fans. Should RAMS trust be the only recognised supporters trust as you have not been very active in the fan groups before the dreaded Silence of the Rams? Surely a representative from here, the West Stand, East Stand, North and South stands so there is a voice from a range of angles?

    Kind regards

I agree with the above, I found it astounding you could issue statements on behalf of all Derby fans - whenever i read anything re. Morris coming from RamTrust I found myself thinking 'I don't think that'.

Or at least I wouldn't be putting it myself like that. I don't think that is exclusive to RT btw, i've seen a few things from this new B&WT group and think similar. I understand both groups (and others) are doing what they think is right for the club/fans. Just seems strange to decide you reflect all fans opinions and speak on behalf of all.

    My aren't we precious!!!

So we want to fill pride park, but only if the people meet the standards set by a certain few.

Get over yourself, Derby fans are no better than fans of other clubs up and down the country, no worse either.

We have idiots and it seems we have some perfect angels who think videoing fellow Rams to get them banned just as the club needs all the money it can get, is a good idea.

I wish I'd been born perfect.

You don't have to be born perfect to know you shouldn't be chanting what was about Billy Sharp ?

  5. The Rooney chant at every game is an absolute embarrassment. The man has a wife, kids, a family. Absolute disgrace our own fans are singing that about our own manager.

And yes, the Billy Sharp thing is equally bad. The problem is these drunk, young, probably drug fuelled idiots saw a viral video of the West Ham fans singing this about Ronaldo and they are that original and funny, thought they'd sing it about 'insert ex Forest player here' at our next game.

They'll sing it again tonight I'm sure as a result of his reaction.

Which btw was absolutely fair enough, i'd have done the same. Again a man with family, wife, kids probably at the game having to listen to that? Grow up kids.

It isn’t just about City of Derby , we are Derby county after all. It affects the whole community outside of Derby as well .

And a fair point well made. This has bigger implications than most outside of football will even realise. I'm astounded Mel has the balls to do this and if I were him I wouldn't be showing my face around Derbyshire for a long while.... if ever!

30000+ fans don’t just disappear. Granted we wouldn’t get 20K + gates but we’d have a core 10-15k at least and there will be odd games where we’d sell 25-30k. A lot would depend on the terms on which we get the ground.

If we did have to ground share with Notts/Chesterfield- we’d sell out those grounds regularly - huge advantage over the other teams.

It’s in no ones interest for Derby to be in division 10 and win every single game (could happen), so I think there would be a negotiation with the National League about what division to start in, I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up in the conference, but more likely conference north (div 6), or worst case (div 7).

If we became a Phoenix club we’d be back in the championship in 10 years. If we end up in League 2, 5 years, League 1, anything between 1 and 3 years IMO. If Luton can get back we can - we’ve only spent 5 season in 3rd division in our history.

Agree with all this. Even if the worst happens, we'll have a rough few years but we'll be back.

I'm also a bit surprised (actually I'm probably not) that Derby City Council have come out to support Mel as Business City Ambassador.

The lack of 20k+ fans on a match day every 2 weeks will be the end of a lot of small businesses and pubs etc. And have a huge impact on the entire city of Derby.

This isn't just about our club, it's about the entire city & community.

Mel should hang his head in shame. What an ambassador for the city!
