The -15 points just doesn’t make sense to me.

We would lose our manager who is arguably worth millions in compensation. We would lose most if not all of our players who need a new deal and those under contract would probably have no motivation and want out. They’d end up going for free or for peanuts. Ticket sales would be down for the year losing millions.

I don’t know how much under the required amount MA is offering but surely it doesn’t financially make sense when all things considered.

Exactly this. Save £5m but lose more in the first 12 months including some supporters who may never return

Lawyers don’t work that fast .

I think if a billionaire tells them to work to those timescales and probably employs them anyway and if lots of legwork has already been done by the admins re the creditors it can be done. It won’t take 6 weeks once a deal is agreed quite simply because it can’t.

Surely if MA makes an offer/could make an offer it has to better CKs, Which will be better for the creditors and No -15 points...is this right?‍♀️, Only downside to this is whether Rooney and co leave along with players...this will not be Qs concern I'd have thought

CK is willing to lease the stadium on top of his money for creditors. I suspect MA will want to own the stadium by squeezing the creditors and the Admins.

The clock is ticking like a time bomb reading to off, I think we have all been patient enough we simply can’t keep giving CK more Fergie time. Hopefully it will all go through today, but Q have to look at other alternatives.

Seems to me that in the assessment of both the Admins and the EFL, the CK bid still has the most realistic chance of reaching a successful conclusion, otherwise the (supposed) imminent end of exclusivity would have ended.

If anyone can come up with a more likely realistic theory....feel free to share.

I don’t understand what is in it for Chris Kirchner to attempt to buy the club if he doesn’t have the funds. Why go through all this? If he has funds tied up and can’t budge then that’s another matter.

This is exactly what I dont understand...this will have cost him probably a few million already in legal fees....for what reason, it will hardly enhance his reputation in the sporting world. I find it very hard to believe that he did not fully intend to buy the Club and that he could afford to do it. It is completely baffling unless the Nixon version is accurate and its all down to the money laundering checks??

100% not on the wind up.

I've explained in great detail that I am not an avid Ram like 99% of the posters on here, but have had a relationship with the club in various guises since 1974. I  have an affection and concern for the club but am able to look at the situations without the emotional involvement most of you do. I'm sorry if that means I come across as negative at times but maybe I can just see things from a different perspective.

    Who do you support.

I read it. Another way. The process has been slower than expected and although they expected it to be signed before the bank holidays it has now slipped into that period. Either way I expect it to be sorted asap. This isn’t the worry for me, I’m more alarmed by Knights statement as he will not be the only one. The euphoria of the season has gone now and in the clear light of day players might be having second thoughts about signing on for L1

What has he said other than it’s difficult or something along those lines?

What will we all do when the formal announcement is made?

I think I will just feel a sense of relief.

Also, a little excitement about buying a season ticket and the opportunity to see a fresh new team, unencumbered by points deductions and uncertain futures.

I hope Rooney will be able to instil the same passion in the 22-23 team and that the fans get the season they deserve.

And maybe, just maybe, a little less fighting in here.

Me too. I just hope we see things happening quickly, like the season tickets, Rooney's contract, a few existing players signing on.....The last two years have exhausted every bit of patience I have.
