Lot of slagging off the players tonight on here, but I saw lots of effort but we so so lack quality.  To think where we were 6 years ago. Morris not only left us with a financial mess, and a hefty points deduction, but probably worst of all the poorest squad quality I have seen at Derby since about 1982. Once again Bird looked quality. He will be gone come 1 January.

The we might as well give up, bye bye championship comments are a bit childish. Granted we’ve been poor tonight and probably will go down but let’s hope the team can keep their heads up. Thankfully the travelling support don’t sound like they’re giving up just yet.

Just looking at the half time replays... we are lucky to be only 2-0 down. @OrphanramI agree with what your saying, Sibley is trying hard but for me his first touch is awful, remember his hatrick, he had twinkles toes, was like the ball was glued to his boot, for some time his control has been really bad.

I actually think Sibs has worked hard off the ball but not good enough from anybody going forward, Lawerence and Jozwiak have been passengers with and without the ball. This is probably the first game where both Shinnie and Bird have been poor and Fozzy is having one of those shockers he has in his locker every now and then.

With Shinnie & Bird forming a decent partnership in midfield and Morrison taking the AM role in front of them (they do rotate a bit), what does the team look like when Bielik is fit? 

On the assumption he is back up to full speed and is a good as he was…
Does he come straight back in as the first choice midfielder?

Bielik in for Shinnie which allows Bird to play further forward, in a similar role to the one Hughes used to have for us.

Yep, first time I’ve seen them this season. A bit toothless in attack, but they look strong across the rest of the team and play a decent style.

I think Coventry look really decent, could be a tough afternoon this.
