He got in team of the year, I’m pretty sure for example if Allison was in goal for sheff Utd they’d still be bottom.
Football about more than stats at times.
Also, like someone else says we have no idea what our budget is so pointless speculating. Personally happy being linked with players for fees again. Trust clowes to keep us on a stable footing so can spend what he deems fit.

I do think he could play the 8 role, is similar to being a 10 with a bit more defensive responsibility.
sibleys main issue at 10 seems to be getting involved in games. Has quality on the ball and gets shots off.
agree he looks good at wing back though. And learning another new position probably not ideal at this stage in his career.

Agree on smith and Thompson, smith should be Adams back up. Like you say Thompson runs a lot. He does seem to be a more positive player now and plays forward a lot more than when first in the side. Would be surprised if Thompson plays much next season. 
We need to replace bird and hourihane I’d say. Brannagan or Sheehan be ideal for bird.

IMHO only Adams from those three is anywhere near the level we will need next season.
Smith is a good solid pro dropping through the divisions and Thompson is little more than a keen runner.
Winning the midfield will be so important and will require strength, stamina and guile.
I think we probably need at least two, possibly three new midfield players in our squad.

Ben Wiles is a midfielder who was one of Rotherham's better players under Warne, though a bit of a diver, I think he's with Huddersfield now.

Burrows, brannagan and langstaff all look good players

Been told the budget for the summer is good from recent sales and that there is no need to sell any players to buy. I’m quite hopeful 🙂

Yeah my only concern is he doesn’t seem to offer much without the ball at all. Doesn’t seem a Warne player in any way but he obviously is a fan. Let’s see what he’s like in the new season.

Im sure Sheff Weds fans were saying the same about NML.
I wonder if his lack of effort off the ball was more down to fitness & recovering from injury. Also I think at one point Warne told NML to not to worry about tracking back so he had more impact in attacking areas (may have been last season) so maybe Warne did the same with CBT knowing he doesnt yet have the fitness for both.
I agree with others, a full preseason with Warne will do him the world of good, it certainly helped NML go up a level from last season.

I’m not sure this side is going to achieve what Ipswich has. We’ve been quite effective at times but flat at others, we don’t control midfield often either which could hurt us higher up. Adam’s and smith doing much better recently though.
Ipswich had much more an attacking style of play and a system, I’m not sure we’re that polished.
think we’ll stay hard to beat, need some additions in centre mid and up front and think will be pretty comfortably mid table.

Wouldn’t break my heart to see Buchanan and bielik in league one to be honest

I struggled with the quality of football at times, generally had to be not poor to win at home against a bottom half side. 
was good seeing some new grounds, very happy we’re out of it though.
