The problem is that even a poisoned chalice could look like child's play compared to us at present. If Everton offer, Rooney will go.
Oh you know that do you?

There’s a real danger of public unrest at the forthcoming Boro fixture.
if we still exist. -

TBH I don’t think they would give it a second thought.
DCFC would be gone and they would carry on. Won’t have actually lost anything themselves.
And would there really be a backlash?
Can’t see anyone in the national media currently investigating the veracity/legality of the claims - too interested in the PL.Have DET even expressed an opinion or are they just regurgitating tweets/articles they find online as usual?

Steve Gibson doesn’t sit on the EFL Board.

He doesn’t know what the claim is?

Whatever it is, it can’t be worse than Reading’s.

As I said, we 43 points.
With points deductions it could be less. No need to worry about what other teams are doing individually. -
It’s a simple equation. The first 23 games we won 6 and drew 10.
If in the final 23 games we can win 10 and draw 6, we will end on 43 points, with a much better goal difference than those around us. That requires borderline play off form.
We got the first of those ten wins last night. -

I’m interested to know why Ferrari have not bothered to appeal against the bizarre decision to only allow the cars between Lewis and Max to unlap themselves. So Sainz was not part of the race? He had back markers in front of him. Therefore he could not challenge Max, or indeed Lewis. Also Max didn’t need to watch his back as he tried to overtake Lewis.
No, Masi wanted a ‘shoot out’ between the front two; a Hollywood finish, where inevitably there was only going to be one outcome.- Comrade 86, TigerTedd, Andicis and 1 other

Have any similar ‘claims’ ever been successful?
Why didn’t we claim millions off QPR when they ‘cheated’ to get into the top flight at our expense? -
It won’t be the pitch, it would be the surrounding areas. Safety is the consideration. Seeing as it’s on Sky will ensure it goes ahead.

I didn't think there was an English League Title anymore unless that's a new invention?
Surely you mean the Premier League title?
But anyway.....
Clearly I’m referring to us being English League Champions. We have never won The Premier League, or the Premiership as it was known previously.

Only if we agree to stop harping on about winning them titles in the 70’s.
Ha! Well we have won the title twice since Spurs have!

Of course our team is made up of old timers and youngsters, due to embargoes; not multi million pound signings.
Ok Bielik. If we can get half a season out of him. -
Can you imagine the atmosphere in the ground? The euphoria?

Sadly we could now witness very poor crowds. The EFL have pulled the rug from under our feet.
on tv. Not everyone has their season ticket or a will to attend.
Very sad times. -

Good summary.
Its important to point out that the ref wasn't poor as such, he blatantly cheated, it not like his decisions were due to innocent incompetence, it was 100% pure cheating, there is no other way of describing it.
Even the Millwall fans weren’t that angry. Let’s face it they thought it was a bad challenge, they more than anyone would have been screaming blue murder. Some are even smirking.

The Slync Arena will take a little getting used to.

To put it in context, there's only 5 clubs with higher averages in the Championship this season.
Yes, I would love to emphasise to the absentees that they may not have a club to support in a few months time, but if there's anyone in the county that doesn't know that already, they must be hermits. But I do think the pandemic and the ticketing farce have knocked at least a couple of thousand off the gate and it'll take time for some people to put aside both issues before they think about returning.
Agreed. Someone said to me yesterday why don’t we just carry on ordering our tickets for each game onto our phones. It’s dead easy.
Er, no. A proportion of older fans just want their season ticket safely in their wallet, so they can just travel to the ground and get easy access.- Dordogne-Ram, Boycie, r_wilcockson and 3 others
