Don't forget it’s a bank holiday.

What is the point of a Disciplinary Commission if the EFL will simply not accept their decisions? EFL is coming across as a totalitarian state.

@HuddersRam Something is doing my head in and I may well be wrong but in the book you mention that Will Hughes made his debut at home against Peterborough. Was that not away at Peterborough? Pretty sure I was there that day..
5th Nov 2011 away to Peterborough. 90th minute substitute. (Wiki)

It has to be re-laid though. Standard procedure to maintain the integrity of the surface. The only difference 2019/20 was the season had to be extended due to COVID which left it in a terrible state when the bad weather arrived, leading to a sub standard surface going down.

They re-lay the pitch every season. So what? Apart from last year due to the pandemic.

If the EFL’s number one priority was the safeguarding and governance of the football clubs it regulates it would :-
1. Insist that the fit and proper test as a potential director and proof of funds in a UK bank account were proved before negotiations started between a potential buyer and a club.
2. Have lighter touch regulation, where the welfare of the club came above draconian sanctions, celebrated in the press.
3. Campaign against FFP, as in the Championship for example,at least three of its member clubs have an unfair advantage each season due to parachute payments.
4. Not be influenced by outside agendas which are basically a revenge mission by one club against another.
5. Stop diving, dissent and gobbing on the pitch
The spitting on the pitch business. Are you suggesting players should run to the touch line and eject into a spittoon?

EFL.
Who are these people? The Gestapo?
Apart from anything else, we’ve had a season with no fans, no money, and in what way have we actually benefitted from these infractions? -

Watching back again this morning (sad or what), He was our best player and showed all sorts of attacking activity but for all his industry and magic the end result was often not particularly useful. Towards the end of his shift he was looking a bit tired (understandable given his workrate and lack of match time) so I can see why he went off. Hopefully he will be energised for next week.
Having said that I would have taken others off who were having no impact on the game at that stage like Knight Forsyth, or Waghorn.
Waghorn was involved in our goal. He passed to Byrne, whose cross was headed in. Was that not an impact?

As I predicted.
Final day showdown, all we will need is a point, how hard can it be?
Erm...
No we don’t. Rotherham could still overtake us.

means wendy have beaten us
And they would then have a better gd.

If only our goal difference were a bit better. It could come down to that.

And Wednesday
Iv said it’ll take close to play off form to get out of this
Not least cos it’s such an average league everyone else is picking up points around us to get above that crowd we need to be even better
point in case we’re fresh off the back of 3 straight 1-0 wins 8 clean sheets in 10 before the Rotherham debacle and as of this minute we are now 3rd from bottom
Second bottom.
