I think in a nutshell fans would put up with this anti football if we go up but it’s a poor watch and if we do manage to go up some how we will be in a relegation. Battle for sure next season. If we actually tried to play football and had a game plan that wasn’t get a million crosses in to one player in the box Warne would get more slack from everyone.

Seemed obvious for 2 seasons , we struggle to control centre midfield, especially when the pressure is on
My priority would be a better CM , but where do you find anything better for loan…
Midfield has not been right all season I don’t know what’s happened to Bird he was controlling games in the Championship and has only shown glimpses of quality and Hourahan pops up with the odd goal but we might as well play with 10 men when we don’t have the ball as the Captain is not a defensive mid.

I'm heading to PP tomorrow for an event hosted by Marketing Derby.
Primarily an opportunity for DCFC to promote hospitality and conferencing to businesses in Derby but apparently time for a little Q&A with Stephen Pearce and Paul Warne.
What sensible questions would you ask if you got chance to ask something?
Can we ask the players to pass the ball on the floor to a teammate ? 😜

You got torn a new one, as you put it, for posting like a hangry baby. The fact that you welcome others doing the same speaks volumes.
FWIW, If you and others seriously believe that you are the only ones who can see that there are issues with the team, then you need to brush up on your reading skills. Equally, if you think this squad would prosper in the Championship, then I'd beg to differ. That's just something folk say to bash Warne I'm afraid. Same people continuously pumping the same line, then calling the team garbage every week, like nobody will notice the contradiction. We're a L1 side and that's all we are until we're not.
Unfortunately on last nights showing we aren’t even a good L1 side. 😢

This really is garbage we can’t string 2 passes together

Apologies. 🍻PS:
Can I publicly shame @derbydaz22 too, as it appears they made the same mistake! 🤣

Fornah - think Warne needs to get rid! Started season with promise, but he’s looked worse as the season has progressed
Not sure someone will take him off our hands 🤣

Max bird isnt the issue. The reason he is getting made out to be an issue is because he and Cash are our most valuable assets and Cashin is indispensable. Therefore people are happy to let Bird go in order to give funds to sign players.
But we need him to get out of this Division and if he had a decent defensive mid next to him he would look even better.

Hate to say it but chaos seems to reign defensively whenever Bradley plays. We were told heading etc was his strength and with his height it should be…. But he’s useless in the air.
Yes…. Cue the ‘it’s early yet- he may come good’ comments- but to me he looks like a disastrous acquisition and a massive waste of money (wages-wise)..
I think if we continue with a 3 then Fozzy instead of Bradley.

The trouble is, ATM, we are playing catch up, if we want to finish in the top 2. The management will be unwilling to risk putting youngsters in the matchday squads, if it means a senior player misses out, likewise even if they're on the bench because of injuries or suspensions, they will be unwilling to take the slightest risk on missing out on 3 points, just so they can give the youngster a 'try'. Remember Wassall giving the bench a 'try' when 3 nil up in the 83rd minute, a few years back.
If we just miss out on the autos or a play off place, because we lost points through giving youngsters a 'try', do you think that Warne would be excused?
No but the bar is pretty low with some senior players so why not try in some games if we are winning or losing? I’m not saying start them but 20 mins here and there.

Nice point to raise before it costs us
I think that bolstering midfield is more effective than the defence
I never understand why crowding the defence with extra numbers works. I say stop the ball at source which is really midfield. keep the back four and crowd the middle of the pitch may work better ?
100% bolster the midfield and make them go long but I know it’s not always as simple as that.

Playing well and dominating games doesn’t guarantee a win, digging in and taking your chances when they come is working for us at the moment
I think if your playing well and dominating games results take care of themselves long term.

How certain are you those 3 will control games ?
What roles are you playing them in?they certainly have some attributes that smith and hourihanne lack but by the same token they lack some of the composure , experience and passing the two they replace have , im not sure those 3 control games any better than what we do now but it’s opinions 🤷🏻♂️
We will never know unless he try’s it and I know we have won 4 on the spin and we are getting in a good position but surely it’s not wrong to want more from this team especially the midfield 3?

Ok so who is the midfield you choose that you are pretty certain will control games
Like I said I think it’s time to try Bird Fornah and Sibley.

Ok so who are the midfield we are going to put out that are going to control games regularly because I personally don’t see we have that available with any certainty, at this point I’m happy to put out a team that wins games and gets us up
Have you seen the standard of this League? I think we have better players than Smith at the club for a start.

Despite what any of us think on they’re performance they are winning games so personally I’m not going to slate them or warne , if we manage to sign Declan rice anytime soon and leave him on the bench I might be a bit more concerned,,,,, results results results🤷♂️
Now your being silly you certainly don’t need Declan Rice to get out of this division just 3 decent midfielders who are also mobile.

Yep that silly warne , can’t he see he needs to change up to break this losing streak we are on
Did I call him silly? So you think we are playing well and dominating games because I don’t. Silly me.

It’s time for a change in midfield it’s obviously not working and we are to easy to play against as Smith is like playing with 10 men as he’s contributes nothing and Hourahan needs resting in my opinion. I would drop Bird deeper with Fornah and Sibley which will give us legs and hopefully start dominating midfield but I fear Warne will just carry on with a midfield that’s not working.

To be fair Weston's been training all week. He can now serve a Balti Pie and a White Coffee in under a minute.
Get him in the concourse then 🤣
Does Warne deserve the vitriol aimed at him?
