Having strangely failed to find the answers to my questions in the FAQs, I sent the following on the message link above:

"Could you advise please whether any party that has (or potentially has) a claim against Derby County is involved in any decision making by the EFL, either at Board or Executive level with regard to the EFL's decision ongoing involvement with the administration and potential future of Derby County.

If the answer is that such a party does have some involvement in the shaping of the EFL's approach and decision making with regard to the administration of Derby County, can you explain please how you ensure that no conflict of interest will arise.

For the avoidance of doubt, please treat 'party' as referring to an organisation, or employee of that organisation, or any body or third party who could reasonably be said to be representing that organisation.

    Thank you."
They have told me that they will hope to respond within 7 working days..............

That's fascinating stuff about Steve Sherwood, BR. John came to Alfreton Hall once to give a talk and my mum got me his autograph. Sadly lost over time, but he's a name well-remembered by me for that reason.
Really appreciate your detail from the games, as well as @LeedsCityRam's excellent summaries.

My 96 year old Nan started having symptoms on Xmas Eve and tested positive on Xmas day. Didn't sound good when I spoke to her on Xmas Day, but she sounds almost fully recovered now. Hopefully milder variant, plus 2 jabs and a booster, means we might be on our way home.

Sat in my garden in a previous dwelling where the back garden ended in a serried wall of trees with wetlands beyond. Had all manner of wild animals come visit. Deer, foxes, hedgehogs, enormous dragonflies, rats and lots and lots of squirrels. Sat one afternoon in the sunshine chomping though a huge bag of pistachios whilst catching a few rays and reading a James Ellroy novel, when after a while, I became aware that I was being watched rather inquisitively by a very large and very clearly pregnant squirrel. She was pretty unusual as they're busy little creatures and typically quite timid, but she was sat really quite close, on her haunches with her paws entwined and for quite some time. She looked like she was praying.
So I chuck her a pistachio... It lands close to her feet and she doesn't flinch, not one iota, rather she scoops it up and shells it in one swift movement and chomps it straight down. Then she re-adopts her praying pose. I chuck her another, then another, then another. Pretty soon there's discarded shells flying all around her since as fast as I could land them near her, she could extract the tasty bits and wolf them down. Soon she begins stuffing them shell and all into her cheeks, then she starts running around and around a small apple tree, making a huge fuss of burying a few, only to dig them up and eat them mere minutes later. I'd had no idea that squirrels buried food and it was joyous watching her obvious delight at finding this funny looking massive hairless squirrel who was quite generous with his scoff. By late afternoon, she'd helped me polish off the entire bag and was literally sat no more than a few feet from me seemingly enjoying the late afternoon sunshine as much as I was.
This became a regular gig, so much so that I dubbed her Dyson as whenever I'd venture out with treats, she'd be there in a shot and would swiftly hoover up whatever I put down. Soon, she'd even sit on the window ledge while I was washing up or sitting in the kitchen too, even without the lure of nuts. My GF of the time of course hated it. 'You can't feed a squirrel pistachios' she'd moan. Why not I'd ask? 'Pistachios are expensive' she'd reply. Well I bloody feed you don't I, I'd think without saying. I didn't really like her very much.
I'm not sure how many litters Dyson produced, but as is nature's way, a couple of years after our first encounter, she was eventually killed by one of her offspring (I assumed) after a prolonged and pretty vicious fight high up in the tree canopy. Don't mind admitting it saddened me quite a lot, even though I know that's how nature works and that it's nothing more than the cycle of things.
Anyway, next time you see a squirrel, instead of muttering about rat's with tails, chuck the little bugger a nut or two and think of Dyson, because one man's vermin is another's funny little furry mate. We're all God's creatures after all, assuming one believes in such things and we all share the same planet.
And apologies for the huge digression from the core subject matter of this thread!
    As you were ?

With all the talk of yorkshire puddings reminds me of being a young teenager and living with my parents always on a sunday before the roast beef my mum used to make a large yorkshire pudding with herbs added before it was put in the oven, can remember sage and a sliced onion. It was always served as a starter with plenty of gravy, yummy.Does anyone else remember eating yorkshire puddings like this.My mother was raised in Dublin, but lived part of her early wedded life in Sheffield.

Not sure where you get the 32% from as my understanding is it's 31% of players whom don't intend to have the vaccine but to answer your general question:-
Exeter City manager Matt Taylor told BBC Sport he would not be influencing any of his players to get vaccinated, stressing it was "their decision".
"From my discussions with players who haven't had the vaccine, there's a lot of influences, and they're understandable," Taylor said.
"Whether it be things in terms of enlarged organs, heart problems, respiratory problems, possible fertility issues, they've got a whole host of questions which come up and often remain unanswered.
"I've tried to educate the players as best I possibly can, I don't hide away from the fact I'm vaccinated and am encouraging my staff and players to be vaccinated.
"But it's personal preference and there's a moral compass here in terms of what players are allowed to choose and what they're not allowed to choose.
Derby boss Wayne Rooney added: "It's a difficult situation because everyone has their own opinions on it.
"I've had the vaccinations but some players, some staff, might have their own personal opinions on it," he told BBC Radio Derby.
"I'd personally encourage it, we can see what's happening in terms of needing vaccinations to get into places, but also to stop it spreading and to make sure you're happy yourself and your family.
"I'd encourage it but I can't make that decision for all the players and staff, unfortunately."

Dont want to be a spoil sport but I can see the time coming when we will get a total shutdown on all sports where fans are attending and even all football, rugby, horse racing and any others where large masses are attending.
Dont think it will be to bad for us,give time for DCFC to get its act together, maybe even cancel this season and hey ho we might still be a champiuonship team next year.

The mortality rates quoted were based upon the first year of the pandemic, when nobody had been vaccinated.
Now something like 88% of the UK's population over the age of 11 have had at least one shot, and 40% have had a booster.
What we are now seeing is a far greater protection against death or serious illness in overall terms - in other words, the vaccines are doing their job.
I'm not 'claiming' anything - just reporting what was stated widely in the first editions of this morning's newspapers.
I don't think I've dodged anything either. Sure, there are times when I don't respond to some people on here - but that's usually where I think that the questioner is two sheets and I would be banging my head against a brick wall. Voicing those thoughts usually sees me receiving a forum holiday, so I'm learning.

So where would we be with nobody vaxxed?  In another lockdown.  As other have said its about mitigating risk, Im on the train to Birmingham this morning (essential journey for work), young d*ckheads sitting together with masks around thier chins.  That's what the main cause of infection is.  Unless you are exempt, there is ZERO excuse for not wearing a mask.
Passports do have an effect, it encourgaes some people to get a vaccine that may not have been bothered to do so....  I know people that can't be arsed, all of a sudden they can....
Pleased you are not too badly infected by it, I too suffer from asthma, so its reassuring to know I will hopefully be not too bad ?
Regarding those that have been jabbed not being too ill, I think this is as a result of a lower viral load.  This has a knock on effect, the lower the viral load, the lower the effects.
    Have a great Xmas....

Exactly, the rule states the safety car will come in at the end of the following lap (which would have been the final lap) after the last lapped car goes past the leader, not about 5 seconds later at the end of the same lap!

May have had some more sympathy for his position until his fabricated woe is me story came out the week 20 people lost their jobs at the football club, no doubt in part because he was insistent on getting his cash that he obviously so badly needed.
Ideal situation would be half an hour of booing before he plants one into his own net, before an hour of singing his name.
