It seems to me a very bad state of affairs when 50,000 supporters can lose their Saturday entertainment through the ineficiency of the clubs owner in running the club beyond his means.
Also when the said owner tells the clubs fans he has pumped in 200 million into the club, does he not realise that so many fans have paid for season tickets, and match tickets they could properly afford.Morris should be put into administration, his riches stripped from him,and used to pay his debts(no it is not the clubs debt,Morris was the one who got us into this mess.
I wonder how he can sleep at night when tomorrow he will be telling many people they will at best be paid for less hours and at worst they will be loosing their jobs
should read could not properly afford

How many clubs have been in the same situation we are now facing, and what became of them ?
And have any teams ever been bought out by their supporters, and did they survive

Thumbs up to RamsTV tonight as well for an excellent commentary on the game from Owen B and Shaun B.
Watched it on my mag box, they give everygame live from the efl, dont think my commentary came from Derby supporters, all through the match it was WBA are going to score,we are far superior to Derby,so was so pleased for Rooney and the team for rubbing their noses in it.
Well done to everyone concerned with the Rams tonight, players, staff and supporters

OK, assuming that I'm me, but a very wealthy version, the first thing would be to get control of the stadium.
If I was a wealthy businessman with no affinity for Derby County and out to make a profit, I'd move the 'franchise' to London. I'd strike a deal to share a ground - maybe Wembley or Twickenham and rename the club London FC. I'd target people who had recently moved to the capital to quickly create a fan base and market the club as 'the future of football'. Then I'd look to build a new stadium on a brown field site with lots of grants from regeneration funds.
Boo,Boo,Boo.! We dont want to go to London,we are Derby County F.C.,It runs through our veins, and our club WILL STAY in Derbyshire,so there,if you dont like us where we are I suggest you look for a team on Bodmin Moor.

Miekle came from a litter in Gloucestershire. Parents were ex assistance dogs owned by the charity.
Essentially a selective breeding programme.
But most of miekles siblings are black, so I assume some connection..
Were the parents xrayed for hip dyspacia. ?
-
What a lovely looking lab.Reminds me of my lab called Jet,who I bought out of a litter in our local village,a proper pedigree, everything was right only the breeder didnt have the dog and bitch xrayed for hip dysplacia, which meant my poor Jet developed hd when she was about 8 years old,she found it more and more difficult to walk, and I had to retire her life as a gundog, which she loved and was very good at(I once turned down an offer of 1000 pounds for her and that was in the late 70,s).
I dont think in those days many people were offered an operation, especially in my dogs case as the bone socket holding the hip wouldnt take it.So good luck with your lab, hope everything goes well for your dog.
Regards and best wishes.Malagaram

Interesting to see a decent number of you say that you don't really have a problem with the manager of your club getting pi55ed up to the point where he falls asleep in the hotel room of a group of young woman (and gets subsequently snapped doing so) just a few hours after saying he was looking to bring some "dignity and pride" back to the club.
I was expecting more to have a problem with it considering our recent history with staff members getting drunk.
Is it now a problem for Wayne and Coleen? Yes, but let's not pretend this isn't a problem for us, too.
Once again we are having our name dragged through the mud. When is this going to stop happening?
Does he deserve to get the boot for this? Probably not. He deserves to get the boot for nearly getting us relegated to League One (thanks again, Marlon Pack). But it certainly isn't going to win him any supporters, in my view.
Well written, agree whole heartedly with you and your words.
