Still in Bali and yes, that is my knee.

TimRam reacted to Gaspode in Live football thread.
I made the mistake of watching a rerun of the 1979 final between Arsenal and Utd - puts modern football to shame.
I remember watching it live on TV but I’d forgotten just what a great game that was - Arse 2-0 up with 4 minutes to go, Utd pulled it back to 2-2 and Arse go back up the pitch to win it….

Great idea. If not much space, how about a plant of some sort which will grow quick and has amazing flowers for nature. Buddleja for example.

If you have the space….Buy a nice tree, and plant it together…pick one that you feel connected to.
Then over the years the tree will grow, hopefully mirroring your love for each other.
We plant trees for special occasions, each one holding memories of that period in our relationship.
My partner often talks about how these trees are doing, and we reminisce about what we were doing around the time that a particular tree was planted …if it’s a fruit trees she also takes great delight in using the fruit in recipes for family and friends….seeing this fruit as being born from love…kind of sympathetic magic if your into that sort of thing
The trees are symbolic of our love for each other, for Mother Earth and of the spiral dance.

TimRam reacted to Reggie Greenwood in Worst Refereeing decision for and against Derby.
That would be the bribed ref in our European Cup Semi final 1st leg v Juventus. All our players who were 1 booking from suspension got booked and couldn’t play the 2nd leg. Juventus allowed to get away with butchery as well. The 76 one a close second

TimRam reacted to GB SPORTS in Worst Refereeing decision for and against Derby.
Any Decision in the two legged European Cup v Juve, still can't abide the cheating barstewards to this day, safe to say if they were playing the gumps, I'd want the gumps to beat them.
As said previously the penalty against Rotherum in 86.

Jack Taylor 1976 FA Cup Semi final v Manure when Dave Nish chipped the ball over the defence and ran on to score when the game was 1-0 but disallowed for a mystery player who was supposedly interfering with play.
Roger Milford in the play off final v Fester not giving a blatant foul on Martin Taylor for their equaliser and letting Steve Walsh and co kick our players all over the park .

TimRam reacted to alram in Premier League clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
you know how they say there has been a small increase in correct decisions does anyone actually believe it? because you watch the exact same decisions given for one team and not given a week later and howard webb comes out and say both are correct decisions.
i think its a load of rubbish to justify the var. my biggest issue is the referee has lost all authority and it is not right that some faceless overlord overrules him when he feels like it from nowhere near the ground. i think its wrong.

TimRam reacted to EulogyForEvolution in Playoffs, come on Oxford
Quiet salute to Bolton fans tonight. We've been there. It's brutal to finish a convincing third, only to fall short in playoffs 🫡😞
Best of luck for next season 🍻

3 reasons to compare a good wife to a little toe...
1/ They're cute
2/ They provide much needed balance
3/ You never truly appreciate them being around... until you bang them on the coffee table late at night.
