Unless you're one of the 'Big Six' you can guarantee that your number will be up for relegation eventually. I remarked to a Leicester fan I know just before the season started that I thought they would now begin the slow slide. 
They were never going to be able to compete with the bigger clubs over the long term and it seems silly to think they could, yet that appears to be how some of their fans think.
Also, I'm not Brendan Rodgers' biggest fan (that would be Brendan Rodgers) but to want him sacked is odd to me. In 40 years time they will speak of him with reverence as 'our FA Cup winning manager', but for now they want him gone as they have lost sight of that.

That's fair enough, and I complety agree that nothing should be beyond criticism. I apologise for the belligerent tone initially. I suppose I just find myself frustrated at the expectations of some fans given our recent turmoil. It's going to take a while to turn this ship around. In the mean time we should all just try to enjoy the ride and be thankful we have a club to support.

Really though, what do you expect? It's 5 games into the season. We've got no money to spend. Did you expect us to waltz the league? Teams will be desperate to beat us, to claim a scalp. We have players hastily assembled into a squad out of necessity. And - once more for those at the back - WE ALMOST WENT OUT OF EXISTENCE.

No problem, same here, I also apologize for the agressive response. At the end of the day, we are all in the same boat, and want what is best for this great club. COYR!

The same folk who sagely warned us to expect a very hard time of things despite playing at a lower level are the very same folk now bitching about us not winning every game. It's pretty pathetic to be honest and it adds literally nothing to the debate.
As the players gel and reach full match fitness / sharpness, so we'll become more clinical. Getting on the players' and gaffer's back 5 games into a season with our squad undercooked and needing games is not offering a 'valid opinion', it's just attention-seeking white noise. Last season we were struggling to get a shot on goal in our away games, so it's clear some on here have develop selective memories when they feel like a moan.

Never said we would waltz the league. My prediction was and still is mid table. Just annoys me when people assume that those who rightfully debate and point out the issues that need sorting are branded "too demanding" and "wanting barcelona-esque" type football. It's a forum, it's an area where supporters can and should be able to debate, criticize, and offer their take on things without being lynched for it.

The PL is not the cash making machine it's made out to be. Most of the income goes to players wages.  As a for instance Bournemouth lost £95m the season before they came down. 

The PL is a cesspit of greed.

But how many are level headed enough, to see what we've been through and are fearing that the numbers don't add up?
That would take the shine off things, I bet most fans would have preferred 3 or 4 key signings to add to their promotion team and see how that goes.
