Yep and the outfit that dictates our fate has Peter Ridsdale on their board. Nobody needs to say anything more, just google and think on. EFL criteria for a fit and proper test for any new owners, yeah right!  Joke organisation, so obviously riddled with leaks to the press and let’s not go there with how long they have had it in for us as a club, because our past chairman tried to take them on.
They’ve still not finished in my mind @Carl Sagan but tonight I just wish some karma back at them, so hope the Crouch led review has teeth and puts a few of them out of work, like we have lost good people (Shane Nicholson for one); hopefully the EFL at least lose a lot of their power to influence situations like ours in future.
Never has there been such an inept handling as our plight by a governing body in my mind. Other than that, they’ve done a great job helping us survive ?

You’re spot on. The EFL can’t be forgiven for their role in this. I agree with other posters, without the pressure from our fans on local MPs and the government the EFL could’ve created another bury. It’s not the EFL hierarchy per se, it’s the fact it’s the clubs regulating themselves. Descends into mob rule protecting self interest so it becomes about making sure a club stepping out of line doesn’t get an advantage and ensuring it’s penalised and not about helping a club in difficulty survive. We have been more than punished and the EFL business plan will continue that punishment.
That being said, I think the business plan would hurt us more in the Championship. I think in league one we will have enough headroom to build a competitive side.

Sorry if this has been mentioned but just to add, imagine how the non-playing staff must feel tonight.  Those in the ticket office, club shop, admin staff, etc.  They know they’re future is secure.  Hope you’re still bringing us RamsTV next season @Owen87ITK .

Took a bit of time out to gather myself, have a bath, listen back to Radio Derby and get a glass of my special occasion drink (White Peak Distillery cask rum, summit local). I hope everyone is having whatever it is they want to drink.
Can’t really add anything that hasn’t already been said. All my thanks for everyone’s efforts last season. From Rooney and Rosenior, the players and staff who kept the club going in the darkest days. You can all hold your head high for what you did.
The fans who did everything they could, from filling the stadium to organising marches etc etc. Also the supporters groups who tried to get answers.
The journalists who kept us informed as much as they could, this was a mess from start to finish and was impossible to report accurately on. Many lessons will be learnt but we should appreciate all their efforts from Nixon, Percy, @The Baron,Simon Stone and everyone else I’m forgetting about. Colin Murray, Dan Roan and the national journalists who gave #savederbycounty national coverage.
Special mention to Ed Dawes and Radio Derby, who has lived this far longer than any of us realise because Morris was in his ear with his mess 2-3 years ago. He didn’t get it right all the time, I’m sure he can admit that, but he stood up when it mattered and deserves a pat on the back from Derby fans. Also let’s not forget Chris Coles who after so much crap Derby related news deserves his little moment tonight too!
Team Derby! Forkin, the council and the MPs who helped keep this in the spotlight and did a lot of background work. They have helped create a huge positive day for the city.
Thanks to @David, @Boycieand all the moderators on the forum for all their work and giving us the platform. Special mention to @Animal is a Ram for giving us ‘up to the second’ updates (and all those who sought to beat him, yes you @RoyMac5). Thanks everyone for the laughs in here, at some of the most frustrating times they were some genuinely funny days in here that made everything a bit easier.
Finally, thankyou Mr Clowes. I hope despite inital reluctance this ends up being the best decision you ever make. I hope as fans we respect your privacy, but only after hearing your name being rang out by a sell out crowd on July 30th.
I’ve probably forgotten someone, despite going on worst than one of those popmaster contestants who won’t shut up and go away, but I’m tired and wanna finish my drink and read transfer rumours like a normal football fan, so apologies to anyone who is forgetten.
Have a great night everyone, it’s much deserved

What are the conditions of EFL Business Plan?
How much can we spend on a transfer? How many players can we sign? Is there a wage cap on what we can pay a new player?
Can we sign contracts with the players already at the club?
Can the new owner put in more money and use that for transfer fees without compromising the business plan?

The transaction sees the Club exit from administration and be brought under the same ownership structure as its stadium, Pride Park.
Joint administrator, Carl Jackson said: “We are very pleased to have achieved today’s sale, in a deal which secures the long-term future of The Club, and one which represents the very best outcome for creditors. I would like to express my sincere thanks to The Club’s staff players and the fans for their loyalty, and patience, as they supported the Club through the administration.”
Joint administrator, Andrew Hosking added: “The level of complexity involved in bringing this matter to a conclusion has been unparalleled and we are grateful to all stakeholders and their advisers, for their hard work which has enabled us to overcome a magnitude of challenges, and allow the rescue of this historic Club. This deal represents a real milestone in the long and illustrious history of Derby County, and one which marks the end of the uncertainty experienced by supporters and the wider community whilst the club has been in administration and also importantly is one which complies with the EFL Insolvency Policy and provides the best return for creditors. Today signifies a new beginning for the Club, and it enables the Club to move forward into the new season with a clean slate, under local ownership under the stewardship of Clowes.”
The joint administrators were advised by the Law Firm Pinsent Masons with a team, led by partner, Steve Cottee.4

Can we PLEASE check the validity of Twitter accounts when posting tweets please. It's happening a lot now with a lot of idiots willing to set up fake accounts to wind people up. It only takes a second to check if a journalist is verified, or if an account has enough followers to seem credible.
It's rather annoying and gets people worked up for absolutely no reason. It's a sensitive period for a lot of people, taking a few seconds out of consideration for others would be greatly appreciated. Ta.
