I don't need to 'ask myself' anything - if you read what was written, I already placed MM firmly at the core of the fiasco, he of course deposited the club in the shat. Some of the other 71 clubs appear closer to the brink than is acknowledged, as well!
Check the DCFC timelines; you will also discover how the EFL blocked PB's being named December through April (until the parasite claim 'agreement' between MM and Gibson) - because the creditor status of parasites remained ambiguous as the EFL procrastinated and so bidders backed out, or were frustrated...the EFL would not allow Q to name a PB.
This ambiguity was maintained until relegation was assured - remember how many of us thought a PB would be named and could proceed to approval before the January window closed? It's the hope that kills you and whilst MM is 'the devil incarnate' or however folks label him, there were extra demons at work to scupper any resolution to the admin status we still endure.
All history within the sorry saga, anyroadup, so it's a couple of weeks until either oblivion or salvation, depending upon whoever in any authority or influence gets their heads out of their arses and takes meaningful action.

It amazes me that some Derby fans still don’t realise how much harm the EFL have done to this club.

Figure of speech. We might assume (if Q are professional, ahem!) that the administrators *would* have acknowledged  other suitors' attempts to liaise or negotiate....Percy has his permanent clickbait motives for implying that any contact was blanked.

I would suspect just cause it says written to - it doesn’t mean that’s all that’s happened. I assume there has to be a paper trail with these things so the official line to JP is we have now written to them. I think the fact journalists like Percy are starting to provide opinions on Q like (they should never be in football again) is probably finally the kind of pressure that may make them realise their game is up and they need to get this done for real.

...."written to the Ashley & Appleby groups...."
FFS, if they really want the club, why aren't they in full and factual face-to-face negotiation with Q, with their proposals, all bleddy weekend?
Sure, I know it can be an online conference etc., but Percy makes it sound like Q have popped off a casual email to the would-be bidders.
But then Percy chose to condemn Q for dismissing alleged attempts last week for others to liaise with them, which was inflammatory and sensational claptrap - Q would surely have been enforcing CK's exclusivity and adhering to NDA's?
Isn't it the case that all these frigging lawyers, CK/Stretford/Crooks & Co, Q's staff, the Team Derby MPs, and the banking & regulatory personnel involved, should have actually discovered and clarified *how or why* CK's funding (if it exists), is jammed in 'the system' somewhere, by now?
    Somebody - FIND OUT!!

Woodypecker reacted to Ram Logan Josh in Rams shirts for our two Ukrainian refugee kids
I'm sponsoring/hosting a Ukrainian refugee family through the Homes For Ukraine scheme.  33 year old Mum, 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son.  Been here 3 weeks now and settling in well.  It's exhausting but fulfilling. The stories they tell of their experiences bring tears to my eyes even as I type this.
Wondered if anyone had a spare Rams shirt for the kids, that they're prepared to let go?  Think there's a chance of them becoming lifelong fans.
I'm prepared to pay obviously, but a suitable donation from me to a Ukrainian charity instead might be a nice way forward.
Let me know what you've got!
    Thanks

Does anyone remember when being a football fan was fun? Just looking forward to every Saturday and the odd Tuesday/Wednesday? Points were earned on the pitch and not taken away by some Bamford.

The time when people who worked for the club knew they’d get paid, that they could pay their mortgage/rent, knew they could feed their kids.
The time that it wasn’t downright embarrassing being a Derby County fan, not having your mates rip you a new one about how an absolute shambles we have become?

The times you just knew your children had a team to support when they were older…
They were good times, money has destroyed football and the people who make the money are absolute scum.

I’d wish the worst of fates on the EFL, Quantuma, Mel Morris, Chris Kirchner, they’ve all collectively put us in the position we are in today.

Take me back to the late 90’s when being a football supporter was actually joyful.

And when asked if MM could own another club after leaving us in this position (no matter what we think about Q or anyone else he’s the reason we have this thread) Rick Parry said yes.  Because EFL rules say you can totally mess up (being extremely polite) one club but not two.  WTF is that all about!!  If you’ve done it once, you shouldn’t be anywhere near another club.
