Our ground is owned by Mel - Who is a Derby fan (and has shown that by pouring his money down the pipes trying to do good things for the club)
Coventry's ground was mostly owned by the council - Who decided they weren't in a position to keep doing them a favour
Our ground is owned by a chap who seems to indicate he's willing to do the club plenty of favours - So no doubt he'll provide a structured deal on rental based on game attendances (or something similar)
What about an exceptionally gifted brick?

Do you really think people would give a football club away if there isn't any debt?
We can't post our accounts until the EFL appeal is complete. If we posted our accounts using the same amortisation policy then get found guilty we will get more EFL charges. So we need to wait for the outcome so we can file the accounts correctly.

Rest of your post is just wild speculation of the worse case scenario without any facts to back it up.

Oh dear holy Bucko no - I actually agree with you - I feel extremely disappointed in myself
If we can't get enough points from the last few games to stay up then we deserve to go down - We don't have 'easy' games as such but a couple of teams with nowt to play for and a couple of teams around us we 'should' be beating - That's enough opportunity to pick up points
However - I'm not sure the group we have should be operating at a 'far' higher level - I think they're mid-table standard and still need some leadership and a little more experience - The likes of Sibley and Knight are going to be VERY good championship (maybe PL) players but they need a couple of years still to be giving that extra 'shine' to a side week in week out

You've obviously made your mind up already - Based on twitter speculation, someone else's feud and a bit of random speculation - So it's a bit pointless debating it with you
I'm as cynical as they come - I pull apart everything people say/do to try and see all angles - And I have no great love for this guy because he's just some random with access to some money - But I'm at least willing to examine all sides of the thing - You seem to be using the most tenuous of threads to support your dislike of the dude from square one rather than examining the sources you use for evidence and giving the guy a fair crack of the whip

You could throw that accusation at anyone who's gone through a tricky 'divorce' - You're choosing to believe the side who decided to throw mud rather than the quite measured statement he released after leaving
I'm not pretending this guy is some saviour or that he definitely knows what he's doing - But why do you automatically believe the word of the chaps from Sheff Weds? People who Sheff Weds fans don't seem to be overly fond of
You ask what facts we know about and use a speculation by some random on twitter as one of them? That isn't a fact
I raised the website thing weeks ago - And I do find that suspicious - But some agencies don't have an online presence - He's probably some daddy's boy rich kid who doesn't think of practicalities like that
I'm not buying into the guy but at least present something close to a balanced argument - You're ignoring a lot of stuff (his dad's links to Real Madrid) and then quoting bitter 'ex-lovers' and internet rumour as fact...

Now, I'm a pretty cynical guy - But it really seems like you're actively looking for a conspiracy theory here
No-one has ANY obligation to release any financial information to us - And we don't make any decisions about the club - It seems a little odd that you expect that - One would assume that Morris and Co have at least seen the chaps bank balance and (more importantly) have shown that they won't sell up until money hits their account, so he'll need to have some
The Sheff Weds thing is pretty one sided - He obviously had a falling out with their ownership and they then came out and said bad things about him - That's hardly a shock...
He's obviously a bit of a Bamford, but then aren't all rich lads who've grown up being funded by their dad? I find the most reassuring thing to be his links with Real Madrid - If his dad is (as reported) a former member of the board at Real then it proves his family have some football pedigree and gives us some reassurance - regardless of your personal opinions on the way his social media profile looks

How do you not see the ridiculous nature of this statement? The man who is has 'fired' him is claiming he fired him for making false promises... Of course he would say that! ?
He claims it's not him and is taking legal action
One of our posters on here (I think @richinspain) has checked his public twitter profile which only follows the leader of VOX - Plenty of people follow Nigel Farage or Donald Trump but don't support them - Plenty of people follow Piers Morgan but think he's a total Bamford
What evidence do you have of his political leanings? I've only ever seen one dudes twitter account mentioned
Sky are reporting his lawyer is Ramon Calderon - Former Real Madrid President - That's some decent advice...

If we West Stand fans become the Rioja and Manchego brigade does that make us worse than Keane's prawn sandwichers?

Interesting - And somewhat reassuring to know he only follows the leader (who we all know from Uncle Nige can be fairly humorous figures_)
I'd also say from a political standpoint a lot of parties like the BNP have done well in the past by appealing to people on local issues - If they have one real issues which affects your personal life it's easier to 'support' them than the bigger parties who talk about tax reform, funding the right parts of the state, economic policy and societal values which are so lofty many can't get on board with them because they struggle to see how they affect day to day life (as quite often they don't)

All of those players had significant first team time under their belts before those fees - So I still think City would need to play him for a couple of seasons before they could hope for a fee like that

Maybe I'm being too hopeful but if he's half as good as the potential suggests wouldn't we rather he gets a few years at City and then moves for mega-bucks? Wouldn't have thought Madrid would shell out more than a few million at this point would they?

Overall very interesting and thanks very much to @Red Ram for the summary as I could not be bothered to listen
Think most footballers are a bit arrogant but it's part and parcel of being told they are gods gift since they were 10 - Thorne I definitely think at least has some right to be that way cos he's still (IMO) one of the best footballers we've had at the club for the last 10 years
Think it's a slightly unfair point about the physio team - They're not doctors so wouldn't know whether the pain is normal or not and would have assumed any pain would be normal - However they probably should have been a bit more proactive
Also, I would assume he did a medical before he arrived on loan and wouldn't have expected any issues to have cropped up over a summer of not playing or training
If you think of the kinds of appearance fees which are normal you'd easily put £500k after 50 games - That works out at £10k per game on average so £15k isn't unusual - and we all know the saga of getting Seth back from Leeds cos we were sue another payment
However I think the structure of 'per game' payments is a little unusual - It helps the selling club massively and is daft for the buying club (I would imagine) - And has gone on to screw the player
This was the final nail in the coffin for Rowett in my eyes - Thorne had been perfectly fine that season and occasionally showed how much better he could be - One poor game where he wasn't even much worse than anyone else was and we never see him again - Bradders was equally bad (if not worse) that day but he gets back in 2/3 games later
Very very poor management and a stinking attitude from Rowett - One of his obvious favourites gets straight back in and another becomes a scapegoat
I think this as much as anything cost Thorne - If he'd had game time at the back end of the season Lampard would have had context and understood his value - The £15k would still have been hanging over his head but (for me) an in-form Thorne provides £15k a game more than Bradders does as a DM - Without that game time at the end of the season Lampard had nothing to base his decisions on and Thorne was out in the cold
