The regulations specifically set out how fans are to be represented at these forums - It doesn't say EVERY fan needs to be invited but that fans should be represented - Which is exactly what's happening
He's choosing to ignore that in his quest to prove how underhanded the club are being

My understanding was that our illustrious forum leader said that they're under an agreement not to share the content of the meeting until after it's also been shared on the website - So it will be published and he'll be able to tell us if all the information released by the club is as much as was discussed in the meeting
Regardless of that if @David says he's happy with the answers given in the meeting then so am I - I think we have pretty decent and level-headed moderators around here - Open to information from the club/Morris but cynical enough to take it with a pinch of salt - But I appreciate not everyone on here is going to take that line

I know I'll get in trouble and this post will get taken down, but I know the real reason for the NDA.
It's that sausages are going to be served.

True. I ignored that bit as no matter what is done some people always say it's not enough or want more.

    Ha maybe!
In fairness though, I do understand where those that are angry are coming from.
When I received the email, I questioned it immediately, looked for assurances, took me by surprise.
I asked was it not possible for the meeting to take place without the NDA, and only share information that could be shared.
I was given assurances that this would be like any other meeting. It’s just the paperwork side which as I say, protects us and themselves and might not even be called into use.
So I signed it and returned. Not entirely comfortably as I knew if this got out we would see the reaction we are seeing now.
Shortly after it did, leaked on to Twitter which I am hugely disappointed by as it didn’t give us as a group the opportunity to question it further prior to the meeting tonight.
It’s been difficult the past 24hrs as I have been contacted several times, I’ve been careful not to confirm or deny until a conversation had taken place with the club tonight.
Feels like I may have lied, however everything I have said is true in that I have been given assurances this will be like another meeting we have been part of several times before now.
I do get it though, every Derby fan would love to be in that room tonight, I am very fortunate to be invited due to this forum.
It’s good to see calm and understanding heads, I just want us all to be given a chance as scrapping the meeting over this which could potentially happen if all fan groups put pressure on their reps, helps nobody.

Yeh agreed - I should have been more specific and said the size of the parachute payments are the problem
Equally, I don't understand how teams are given leniency to NOT sell their players? I understand that some teams are going to buy expensive flops and give away huge wages - But why is there no pressure on teams to build relegation wage change clauses into contracts? Or sell off their most valuable players on relegation? West Brom have been able to keep (pretty much) their entire squad together at both recent relegations

cheron85 got a reaction from DCFC Kicks in Has the transfer embargo been lifted?
It did, yes - That's why the contract offered to Marriott wasn't approved by the EFL

Coles' tweets were Monday - It's Friday of the same week - If everything in his tweets is to be believed the negotiations with the EFL and HMRC are probably taking time - The club can't just force other organisations to work at the timescale they desire

I'm not convinced all seats are going to be in use - My old man tried to book our seats and they're not available so he had to pick the closest equivalent spare seats
Again, once the stadium is back at a higher capacity that should hopefully resolve itself

We could grab 10 people from this forum and work out a better system in 7 days, I’m sure of it. Unfortunately the EFL are too interested looking to screw their member clubs over that fall foul of their dumb rules.

It’s not so much the parachute payments that I dislike, it’s more the fact the EFL cannot see they are not being used as intended and anti competitive.
Clubs with any ambition to go up are spending millions just to compete, sure it’s not impossible to do without, but the odds are in your favour more if you do.
We did, and look at the mess we’re in now.
The days of 5 year projects to slowly build a team to go up are gone, players will get snapped up long before promotion through their own ambition and need to bring money in as the Championship is a loss making business to be in.
We simply can’t compete with Fulham this season, even if Mel was sat on a billion with an open wallet.
Embargo wouldn’t allow us, the embargo which was triggered by simply trying to compete with the teams at the top, we have no chance of competing now with as they won’t even let us sign even freebies.
    It’s a joke.

I do find it interesting that we missed out in 2014 to a club who just blatantly ignored any attempt at FFP compliance - And then when they were brought back down to our league their fine was hugely reduced by the EFL because it could have put them out of business - We haven't flouted the rules anywhere near as blatantly and the EFL is hammering us
