Probably the best half we’ve had all season. Everyone doing their bit with Lawrence and bird pulling the strings, Festy having anything that moves on toast and Knight and Foz are everywhere.
We need to be careful though, Hull are occasionally finding decent gaps in our defence so we need to keep on top of that.

Tom Lawrence has been immense today, and for the entire season.
Cant believe more than a few would have been happy to see him gone last summer.

The reason Bielik makes us look so good is because he wants to play it forward whenever he can. He’s not afraid to lose it because he knows he can get it back.
Thompson needs to look at this and learn. I don’t mean to be unfair or overly critical but he needs to step up now. A period on the sidelines will allow him to reflect and hopefully come back stronger.

How does Bielik just being there make this much difference? Hope we can keep this going.

    3 things:-
1 - The 'clearly inflated price' comment regarding the stadium, I assume you are a commercial property valuer? What is the correct value please?
2 - The 'your accounts that have since been found to be against the rules' comment, can you please show me where our accounts were found to have been against the rules?
3 - Would you be ok with the EFL retrospectively investigating Boro for selling their tax losses to an associated company and recording it as profit to give themselves more financial headroom?

Personal abuse towards you has been removed as quickly as its been posted.
Steve Gibson is our enemy. He is trying to kill our football club.
Middlesbrough and Derby have more in common than most. Industrial working class towns with football clubs loved by the locals. From Steve Bloomer to Brian Clough we have a long football history. If you cant see why we are so livid with Gibson for wanting to kill us then I would question whether you really are a die hard football fan.
As others have said, if it was Morris trying to liquidate your club I believe many of us would be up in arms about it.
Perhaps we are made of stronger stuff in Derbyshire, we'd do whats raite not just what a vindictive little multi millionaire wants to do because of a personal vendetta.

Its brave of you to come on. We all know the issues under MM's tenure - he conned us all too but the problem is we as a club have been punished so very very much by the EFL in various ways. Only Derby fans know the detail of everything that has been done.  So Unfortunately the "Derby are all cheats" line pedalled by your chairman and others saying we still need to punished more via these claims is why we have such a totally negative view of your chairman. We have no funds to settle a claim and having to do so will lead to liquidation - other creditors wont agree to a proposal where they get less. So SG's actions and soundbites do not reflect just how much we have been punished already by the EFL and how perilously close to extinction we are. You seem certain he will withdraw the claim when we get to the wire. We are across the wire in no-mans land in broad daylight wearing a fluorescent jacket and still he persists. So that explains our hostility to him

Gibson reminds me of one of those insanely wealthy trophy hunters. Can't actually hunt a wild beast in it's own environment so goes to shoot an already lame beast in an enclosure just to massage his own ego.
If he truly didn't wish the club fold, he would pull back his claim and wait until we were fit to fight it fairly. The fact he hasn't tells me two things. He has no care for the future of the club. He also knows when tested in court, his case will collapse. If he does drop his claim at 2 mins to midnight then it proves what an odious creature he is.

There is nothing honest about Gibson..he has sailed very close to the wind with his movement of debt..on another day the EFL call that as a Breach and Boro are in trouble.
He has timed his dealings with DCFC precisely when a takeover deal has looked promising, for no other reason than to scupper the takeover.
His claims now are only there because he saw the angle of attacking a team in Administration - something that is banned under EFL rules (I assume having a Boro board member helped that one).
He calls Derby cheats - we have never been found guilty of cheating  indeed the panel even called that out. But he does it anyway.
A lot of this is Gibson covering up for his own inept leadership of his club. Has another owner ever pissed away parachute payments in such a spectacularly useless manner?
He has zero class, just look at the Court cases he loses and his threats to church football teams. Odious human being.

If we hurl abuse at you you'll mooch off, Fare play for coming on here, You put your answers/comments as best you can, We on the other hand know a little more than yourself, I doubt whether you get up in the Morning click on here then go to bed at night just after logging off here, Boro means a lot to you, In equel measure DCFC means a lot to us.
If you can't see the damage your Chairman is having on supporters and our club, Then maybe just maybe you'd better call it a day on here...just a thought.

@BoroWillI appreciate you coming on here; your position is noted and I acknowledge your partisanship and civility.
But you must accept this has never really been a Derby v Boro matter. It is Morris v Gibson. Morris clearly did Gibson over, it seems regarding Waghorn, who I can assure you girlfriend was really not worth it. Gibson subsequently was determined to create just as much mayhem as he could for Morris, and that served him well (although even without his intervention I have no doubt Morris would have crashed our club into the rocks - something I will never forgive him for). But even with our Club dealt with by the EFL, Morris binned out with £150m+ personal losses, and Administrators fighting to keep us alive, Gibson still persists in nuisance claims, and do you know why, because he is upset Morris still has some control of the football stadium (which annoys me to hell too). Gibson's two open letters seeking information regarding the Stadium and security/loan arrangements are such childlike actions it is beyond me, other than reinforcing my thoughts that Gibson just wants to keep his battle with Morris going just as long as he can (and duck Derby County and their fans if they are collateral damage). It really is that pathetic. You keep supporting your man if you like, but I'm telling you it is not a good look.

Will. Quite simply he should not have started any action. Derby have done little different from many Championship clubs, including Boro, who will, without a shadow of a doubt had clever accountants at various times using loopholes to avoid penalties. Boro have also had a considerable advantage over many other clubs via their parachute payments from time to time. This goes with the game, any set of rules and with life in general. Small clubs with small crowds have been at an even bigger disadvantage than either of us. Not only is the action laughable from its imaginary fantasy football outcome it is thoroughly dirty. It’s the late tackle out of the refs view after a bit of earlier hand bags. It’s a disgrace and so vindictively unsporting it beggars belief. Added to that Morris has made an offer to meet him in court with impartial judges rather than the EFL where Mr Gibson seems to have a distinctly unfair level of influence. If he is so self righteous and saintly then why hasn’t he withdrawn his action and issued court proceedings ? Or alternatively sue the governing body who were responsible for the rules, the policing of those rules, the penalties under those rules and the timing ?

I welcome you too. No point blaming ALL Boro supporters. I know you had a terrible situation yourselves....I suspect the difference would be that no other Club were sticking their oar in and asking for cash when you were skint? That's the difference. We are uniquely vulnerable at the moment, "unique" not because we are special, and not because we want to unpunished...we just resent another Club piling in. I think you would feel the same the other way round and I van promise I would hate my Club doing what your Chairman is doing.
