  1. Two stories; the Horner camp claim he's being smeared to wrest control of the Red Bull Group back to Salzburg, though I'd always thought that's where it sat anyway. Red Bull, however, are suggesting there may have been some serious impropriety with a female member of staff and are investigating thoroughly.
  2. This what's being said by the Horner camp, that it's a flat out power-play and a pretty snide one at that. We'll see, but at this point, I'm not entirely convinced. I'm am though quite amused at the prospect of Horner sleeping downstairs with only the pooches for company. And to be honest, if it derails RBR, I'll not be losing any sleep, as I'm quite immature like that πŸ˜‹
  3. Breaking news. All official engagements cancelled to undergo treatment. Harry to return to the UK. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68208157
  4. So Hammy has Hammer Time, Christian Horner has Horny Time. Won't be getting any anytime soon, mind! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/68205305
  5. Dear Mozz, I was on 62 points, so plus the 5 you missed off, that's me on 67. No need to check as I know you're busy. Lots of love, 86 x
  6. So are we. We're in this up to our necks. When I say 'we', what I actually mean is this absolute disgrace of a government.
  7. Going to laugh until I'm sick if he chooses us over the Wendies.
  8. According to the Bivol camp, they offered Buatsi a shot and Β£1.5 million guaranteed a year or so back, but Buatsi's camp, perhaps wisely, weren't interested. TBH, I think folk are sitting by the river hoping to 'see the body' of one of the Russians float by. One less monster out there would be better right? Probs not though, as that still leaves another monster lurking. Anyway, Yarde the next fight for Buatsi apparently, 'on his way' to the winner of the Russian fight. Good luck with that!
  9. Well here's a first! Mozza is bulletproof, so a Mozzbloop is like one of those comets that pops around very few millennia. Rare AF. I'm thinking we should all be given the afternoon off work and free cake.
  10. If you say so, but technically, it's not in his job description.
  11. Think it's just that they came out all guns blazing mate, though I have noticed we have a tendency to be a little sleepy after the HT break. Think it's more a case of being able to weather the storm as home teams will always have passages of play where they put us under pressure. Others will see it differently, but I thought on the whole, we controlled things quite nicely. A second goal would have been nice but we earned our clean sheet and were the better side on balance.
  12. On reading this thread I've come to the conclusion, that's not a high bar and I don't doubt for one minute that it's part of his reasoning either.
  13. I think it's just his schtick, Ted. I don't think he's trying to show opponents up so much as show how good he is. it does wind folk up thouhg and as a result, people want to see him get his yap smashed in. That puts bums on seats. Look at the influencer crowd and the bucks they make. It ain't because those f****** can fight! I agree it looks disrespectful, but that boy can fight and he'll only do it until someone tags him anyway. Also, when you think about it, there's been plenty of fighters down the years who have liked to toy with and taunt their opponents. I can see some method to the madness beyond mere posturing. Angry fighters make mistakes. I think this lad is a deal more calculating than he appears. Do I like it? No, not really, but I'd still pay to watch him fight. Yep, spot on for me, Chester. I thought Buatsi was actually pretty good last night, having not been wildly impressed with some of his recent fights. Azeez was game as you like and he's no mug, but Buatsi always looked in control countered most of the former's good work with more of his own. He had more of the remorselessness about him that we saw in his early fights. That said, I think the internet chatter linking Bivol or Beterbiev is fanciful. He's not at that level IMO, though he is likely to get a title shot sooner rather than later. He might be one of those fighters who is top tier, but not top class though. Only one way to find out, I guess! Understandably not a popular fighter on here, though oddly and somewhat hypocritically, I'm still kind of rooting for him... Conor Benn. The end of one fight overlapped the beginning of the other, but he looked sharp against a durable, if limited, Dobson. He's definitely filled his frame and looks a lot more like his old man now and his foot work and hand speed both look improved. That said, Dobson, who appears to be made of solid granite, looked slow in his work and was relatively easy pickings for the nimbler Benn. I've seen Hearn reported as having tried to re-arrange the Eubank fight, with Eubank's camp not wanting it. It'd be a fairer match now in some ways given Eubank was much the bigger fighter. Not so much now though, but while I do think it'll happen, it'll be on Eubank's terms, not Benn's. Wasn't keen myself before, but wouldn't mind it now. Also Fury - Usyk rearranged for May. Pretty much past caring!
  14. Thanks so much Uttox, that's mighty white of you fella. I'd have leant a hand, but sadly I was spring cleaning my ivory tower of 'I f****** told you so you wet-wipes'. My turn next, though I'm hoping that won't be until September at the soonest πŸ˜‰
  15. Wouldn't disagree, but when I think about who I'd nominate, it's bloomin impossible. Nyambe, Collo, Nate who seems to only score critical goals... It's a lovely place to be when you have a core of players recording 7.0+++ week in, week out. If a couple more catch up, we might just be in business.
  16. 31Vickers - 6.5 Don't know why, but he makes me nervous. Did nothing wrong today, mind. 35Nelson - 7.5 Back to his imperious best, a really solid outing. 5Bradley - 8.0 You know some folk did say he'd come good! An excellent outing, but he'll need to back it up now. I think he will. 6Cashin - 7.5 Like the rest of our defence, he looked way more comfortable than of late. 23Ward - 7.0 Another who has been written off but the lad's a decent player and will be finding his legs when others are wilting. 24Nyambe - 7.0 Gets a 7 just for coming home. 32Adams - 8.5 Holy fook, what an entrance! Well he told us what he'd bring and boy did he bring it. Needs games, but this lad looks a find and I'd be contemplating things beyond end of season on that showing. 16Thompson - 6.5 Bit quieter than of late, but put in a shift, as always. 8Bird - 8.5 MOTM - A captain's performance and whatever some think, I'm gutted he's leaving. Best player on the park IMO. 4Hourihane - 6.5 Better than of late, but still ran out of steam quite early in the game. If ever there was a time to rest him up, this is it. 17Sibley - 7.0 Disciplined and effective from Louie, this was a bright performance. 20Elder - 7.0 Yet another dismissed by some on here but he's improving all the while. 11MΓ©ndez-Laing - 7.5 He shoots, he scores. Love him to bits. 7Barkhuizen - 6.5 A quieter performance after showing better form recently. 2Wilson - 6.5 Did what he was needed to well enough. 9Collins - 6.5 Man's an absolute Trojan, but this was just an average showing by his standards. WarneWatch: Decent from the gaffer today. Got most things spot on and the re-jigged defence looked very solid which will please him and the coaches as much as anything. Fair one Warney, just need to keep us here now! πŸ˜‹
  17. I want to call him NihkiNahki but I've no idea why.
  18. You'll probably live longer having missed it 🀣
